Graphics glitch - cyan polygons

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 1:44 pm

I have this very annoying glitch in Crysis 2 (patch 1.9) in which cyan polygons constantly flicker across the screen in most outdoor areas. I also see weird lights flickering on objects like parked cars, but the lights disappear when I get close so I don't think they should be there. Here's a video of what I'm talking about:

I've tried updating (and rolling back) video card drivers, changing quality settings, and switching resolutions, with no results. I have no problems running other recent FPS's like Duke Nukem Forever at max settings. Other than the glitches, the game runs at a great framerate even on the highest quality setting. I've installed the DX11 and highres texture pack but neither is enabled.

System Specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 830 processor @ 2.8 ghz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 285
8 GB RAM
Plenty of HDD space

Any ideas?

Other than overclocking, I don't know what that could be. Try running at stock settings on your CPU and GPU.

Hmm, I haven't overclocked anything, everything's at factory settings. Maybe I should try underclocking or changing fan speed?
