Graphics glitch with Dinnerbell and Hunting Shotgun

so, i made a clean install of New Vegas yesterday. steam updated the game after the install. i added the mod "Distant Gunfire Soundfix" from New Vegas Nexus. i played the game and spawned the Dinnerbell and Hunting Shotgun using the console commands. after about an hour of using the Dinnerbell, i went to go take out a Powder Ganger and after the first shot, my shoulders and arms were all jacked up. they looked like i had 8 of them or something. i spent the next four hours trying to find someone who knew about this and knew what to do about it, and wouldn't ya know it? NOBODY SEEMS TO HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM BUT ME. awesome. i tried to make it happen again, and it did, but if i change weapons it goes away for a bit, then comes back again. or, if i try to reload the Dinnerbell or Hunting Shotgun, it'll go away and come back after the first shot is fired. sometimes, i also noticed that my left hand will be off the gun, like my fingers are inside the weapon a little bit. looks totally off-kilter.i figured that someone had discovered this and modded it out or something but i've found no answer to this and i'm really tired of looking for one. my specs are more than adequate for this game, i use an ATI Radeon HD4850 1GB DDR3 graphics card, fully updated. i turned off overclocking, lowered resolution, and it still happens when i fire that gun. also, i thought someone said that the lever action on the brush gun/lever action shotgun was fixed? (where you run and reload, and the lever doesn't go back to it's normal position. you know.) i have about had it with this game, and i don't see any reason to get any DLC's or the Ultimate Edition if this kind of stuff will never be fixed. other than those things, the game runs pretty smooth, with only a few hiccups that happen if i play for a long time and don't save. i don't use autosave because they sometimes get corrupted. if there are any ideas on what i can do to fix this, it would be much appreciated.
