Just loaded FO4 after a few days off and now there is no graphics, no textures, just a few sky pieces.

Tried all save games.

What I noticed today is when booted I got a strange red color tint on start up. And message about this game not being rated by Nvidia blah blah press ctl , alt , insert to cycle.

What the heck is going on ?

Other games are fine...checking through them now.

970 4 gig

16 ram

Ran fine the other day..not over heating or anything.

The only that has changed was the Win 10 update.

Reinstalling now as the verify doesn't work.

Please help...

EDIT...tried reinstalling from Nvidia ..but it says it can't find the card.

Sounds like a hardware fault, software issue, or maybe a bus failure?

Do a complete clean uninstall of any Nvidia software on your machine, and use CCleaner to clean junk files and registry.

Shutdown the machine, unplug it and leave for about 10 mins (make a cup of tea).

Remove the GPU, check all the power cables and everything inside the pc is connected properly. Put the GPU back in the PCI slot. Boot PC and try again.

Yeah I checked power cables.

New rig ( month old ) made sure they were snug upon arrival.

Device manager says it's there..

But Nvidia driver reinstall say otherwise.

Have you tried different power rails? Usually have like 8 of the smegs floating round. What about a different PCI-E slot? You got more than one that's x16?

I found a driver from August that actually installed.

I have never had this problem before. ( The Nvidia messages upon booting the game or device not compatible )

When I installed the August drivers it's like the old ones were not even there...weird.

Anyway booted the game and seems to be fine...

I think the latest update from Win 10 really borked something.

It's working and I'm off to game.
