I don't see any reasons why they won't give us DX11/Max Settings. It's a demo after all

well if i remember correctly, the crysis 1 demo did not have the ability to max out the graphics... (maybe to keep the download file smaller?)
that might happen this time around too >_>

There are only SOME available DX11 shaders accessible over the console.

Could do it this way-
1. Minimum Graphics Download - 1Gb?
2. Medium Graphics Download - 1.3Gb?
3 High Graphics Download - 1.7Gb?
4. Max Graphics Download - 2.1Gb?

I honestly don't care if the file is 4gb for max settings, I want it to be max settings.

I also really am hoping that they allow max settings on the demo.
If not, this is still a day one buy for me.

I don't know about that, the d and d online download has different downloads for higher settings. Also, I hope they have nvidia 3d support, from what I have been reading it should be amazing with little fps cost.

I'm betting my left nut we won't be seeing max settings in the demo. Why? Well, why keep pc a secret for such a long time and drop it now? They did it so it doesn't affects the sales on consoles. I can't see any other reason. So, expect to see what crysis 2 really looks like in the full version. The demo will be just a ... demo, even for the graphics. You'll taste just a bit of it.

That is a rare case, because that game, like e.g. LotR Online was initially released without DX11. They had no DX11 support at all. Crysis 2 already has it, the main game engine is complete, and the package is done. Separating it into varied Direct X capable files is no doubt a pain to them.

It is possible but very unlikely.
