I have never see (well actually on a much older game I had to mess with the sound but this game is much more than most and to have a sound setting knock me out of the game while trying to load it or the next one lower makes talking to NPX's so scratchy to be unuseable. So I went down once more and the sound is working fine but my confidence is lacking with the game. You (the people that wrote it) should have had Realtek code long before it was released, why it's there is just poor or lazy programing because there must be millions of Realtek on board sound and so it should not be this big of a trouble maker. You think?
I know there have been other issues I read about and I hope your going to fix this and other reported problems with a patch fix.
It's a minor annoyance when I figured out what too do and the game is fantastic in looks and fun. Wish a LOT more software houses made games like this where you really are free to have what ever fun you want and don't have to even bother with the quest if you don't want to.
I am super grateful to all the people that made this game and once the patch is out to fix this and from what I read quest's have been resetting on their own. I haven't seen this and hope I never do but still, WHAT a FANTASTIC game.
I find it real hard to understand why some hardware sites think the graphics should be better and they really don't, I hate to see people get so picky of trivial issues it makes me mad as hell.
There may be games with sharper edges and such but are very limited games with 2 days worth of use and for the too high prices of games that is a crime in it's self.
Hope we don't have to wait too long for a patch. Sorry to be negative but it is a problem. One that never should have been there just because the huge amount of people that use this sound setup and it should have been given it's priority in the game's design from day one but seems to have been overlooked or just totally ignored.
