Great. 15+ hours wasted. This is B.S.

They can keep doing this all they want. I've bought my last Obsidian game. They somehow have the ability to be handed a perfectly viable game engine (Fallout 3, Knights of the Old Republic, Etc.) and by the time their sequel hits retail, it's a buggy, (sometimes unfinished in the case of Kotor II) disaster.

My point exactly. Obsidian is obviously just really bad developers.

Besides the issues I've had earlier: (Completed unmarked quest Midnight Ranch Attacks and no dialog option to inform Dusty. "Did you find anything?" Only option is no.
I've also had 4 crashes when entering Freeside which resulted in my Xbox freezing as well as several other Quest breaking bugs, NPC's being stuck in ceiling's, walls, rocks and constant frame rate drop after roughly an hour of game play.)

Several of my game saves are now corrupt and when I load the ones that are not the game instantly freezes. I can only deal with so much. This is complete bullsh*t. This goes way beyond anything that's acceptable. I know we are a week out but the game is flat out unplayable. What is being done about this and when can I expect to be able to play my $60 game again? The myriad of complaints listed on this forum or mentioned in the majority of reviews is overwhelming. It's just a f*cking shame.

I only got to play it on release date (last tuesday) for 4 hours before the DLC bug hit me, and i've been waiting for a patch ever since. It's really sad considering i've been waiting for this ever since the teaser came out all those months back.

One thing I tremendously hate is when people try and tell the people who are having immense game problems that 'we're only a week in, give it time'. NO! Don't fall for that crap because there shouldn't be a period where we should give it 'time'. The time we gave it is when it was being made. We shouldn't need to give it a couple weeks because the game should not have had any of these game-breakers to begin with. It's a shame indeed because I've been a super fan of :fallout: since the first one. And none of them ever had problems like this (Fallout3 had some bugs and the occasional freeze but never anywhere near the level of problems that New Vegas has).

I had put in 20+ and had to put up with all the glitches to beat the game to find out that once you beat it you can no longer play unless you made a save before. wasn't worth the 64$ and it really pisses me off. They better offer a free add-on to fix the serious bugs and allow continuous play after the game has been beaten. And I am a strong fan of fallout i beat 3 about five times and new vegas really feels mediocre right about now.

It was the same way with Fall Out 3 in that once you beat it you were done until they put out the Broken Steel DLC. Though I'll agree with you that I'm quite annoyed to have paid this amount of money for a game that is hampered by all these bugs.

I had this corrupted same game glitch happen to me before from an autosave but loading a previous save fixed it. I actually saved and loaded multiple time from the rocket factory and never had it happen there. Then earlier today I made a new character (I kinda just threw points around on my first one, so I wanted to start a new, more optimized character) and only had one save. How foolish of me to expect no game breaking glitches. My autosave and manual save are both corrupted with the DLC load glitch so now I have to wait for this patch before I can play again. It makes me wish I never loaded the DLC. I use the Magnum and Reinforced Leather Armor within 10 minutes or so of leaving Primm anyway.
