[LIST] Great House Telvanni Mods

Post » Sat Nov 20, 2010 3:42 am

Excellent list! And well-written, too. :goodjob:

Having done some research on the bugfixes, I concluded that Robin Lee Powell's Telvanni Magister Fix is also superseded by the UMP. Also, it might be helpful to note in the entry for Shiva's Fast Eddie Fix that it is included in Shiva's later Bugfix01.

And, I might note, hey! I didn't know about God2.0's bugfix. I'll have to throw that one in the bugfixes list.

Thanks for your work here!

EDIT AGAIN!: The same UMP fix that renders Powell's Telvanni Magister Fix obsolete also renders God2.0's Telvanni Quest-Fix obsolete; those using the UMP need neither. Actually decided to manually playtest this issue to verify. Cheers!

This is not really a Telvanni mod, but it's a mod every aspiring Telvanni should have. It's called Fliggerty's Slave Mod, it lets you claim whatever slaves you may find.

Already were on the list ;)

Now these I need to add. Thanks!

On a side note - I'd prefer to keep this a list of mods especcially Telvanni, and not a general wizard mod list - as Reffa's list does it already.

I'd like to add "Village of Mora Uvirith" to this list, but unfortunately, I can't find any link to it. I tried to contact its author some months ago, but didn't receive an answer. Does anyone know a download location or a way to contact the author (whose name, judging by his/her email address seems to be kosta51)? I do have a copy of the mod, but don't want to upload it without his/her consent.

This list is both a blessing and a curse at the same time. The blessing is that it's such a great list and I no longer have to search for ever for that perfect Telvanni mod. The curse being that now I want to download far too many mods because of this list. :P

Great list Karpik777. I, and I'm sure everyone else who likes Great House Telvanni, will appreciate it.

I'd like to add my good old http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=1380. it's not telvanni-centric, but there's a quest to build or destroy http://www.code-garak.de/screens/Hunter%20Mod%20-%20Tel%20Ebernanit.jpg, depending on which house you joined.

I wholeheartedly concur. Tel Ebernanit is a classical Telvanni stronghold: remotely situated and occupied by an eccentric master, his "pets" and traces of his bad habits (just love those coffee mugs :foodndrink: ).

Ok, updated the list.

BTW Bhl - did you upload the "Village of Mora Uvirith" anywhere?

Not yet. Since its author obviously cannot be contacted anymore, I will attend to it in the next days.

Edit: I decided to attend to it right away: I have uploaded it to ElricM. As soon as it is accepted there, I will post a link to it.

Excellent list!

My favourite Sadrith Mora starter home was one called Aryon's Retreat. Unfortunately, the links I had to it are dead, and it does not appear to be hosted anywhere now, so I can see why it's not on your list. That's a shame, because it was a lovely little town-house (next to the Council Hall) which your patron would let you use while waiting for Tel Uvirith to be built.

Temporary link to Aryon's Retreat by Nabron, resurrected thanks to Beardo ---> http://rapidshare.de/files/38810009/Aryon_s_Retreat_v1.0.zip.html.
It should be re-hosted at ElricM.com soon.
Edit: Rehosted now ---> http://www.elricm.com/mods.php?mod=4295

Village of Mora Uvirith is also available there now.

The mod was posted on ElricM - I've updated the list.

Ah yes. I forgot about that house - now that you've mentioned the name it's a fine house indeed.

Edit:
It seems I'm always behind...

It would be really nice to get a complete list of integrated mods & compatibility where possible (eg. which of the Tel Uvirith mods include alchemy labs, vaults, Inscription)... not that I'll probably use any of them in a hurry (my Telvanni character already has Tel Uvirith pretty much filled with junk)...

Aryon's Retreat seems to be completly busted. The door keeps on dissapearing.

I've tried adjusting it in the Con/set, there should be there, but it isn't.

Or is there a questfor Aryon to "give" it to you? I'm Telvanni, but havn't got to him yet.

Perhaps you are suffering from a http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes3Mod:Mod_Conflicts#Local_References? I've used AR for some time without any problems. There are no quests etc. tied with the house - you go in and own the place.

A monthly update:
- added the http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6466 and http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6246 to the list
- finally noted on the list that http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=5133 has quests

Since it's summer (holiday time) some might have more time for playing MW - perhaps this list will be of use to them...

Spoiler
Yes, it is a BUMP ;)

Two months have passed.

Plangkye's http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19638 were added to the list - I might be wrong, but I don't recall any other new Telvanni mods this summer (I'm not counting updates).

How good is the Replace Telvanni Councillors mod? I mean, how how's the writing and feel? The idea of an uber-master seems off, but I guess you could do it well. It seems natural for Aryon and me to keep offing the old guard, but only as long as the replacements are plausible and well written.

I don't really remember how good the writing was, but the ways some things turned out was very Telvanni-like.

Two mods added to the list.

Thanks - and if I had any idea about the number of mods, I don't think I'd even begin the work ;)
