Great Improvement Crytek!

I am finding myself getting away on most fire fights. It seems the nanosuit can take more bullets. That is positive to allow the fight to draw out longer. No boom you are dead. I see more people using shotguns. That makes it fun! The changes you are making on the back end is positive. I have to burst my feline from long distance now. I think it is progress.

I haven't notived. I still think the amount of health vs weapon strength is BS. People die too quickly.

Yeah I've definitely been getting many more kills. Not sure if It's getting more fair, I'm getting better, or everyone else is getting worse. But i used to get like .60 k/d (horrible I know) now it's around 1.5, sometimes even about 2.5. And now I'm really starting to love this game now that I'm not getting my @ss beaten haha. I also think the amount of bullets it takes to take someone down is perfect, in my opinion

Well if you consider crysis 2 quite realistic then a few bullets to the chest or one to the head isn't that bad, this is my 2nd FPS(Reach and This!) (armor mode though should protect you more so it gives you incentive to use it, without armor mode you are still a normal human with a little more protection cause of the suits layers)

i played last night and still the same old lagging b.s. probably because of my isp though. we are maxed on capacity and are adding a new oc3 card next week. so that will definitely help with the bottlenecking.

sorry. its a card to let "users" of the internet pass through the cmts. basically its a "door" to let more people into the www without have to run each other over to get there or more bandwith as they say.

so better gameplay on line? does it need a pc or what? is it essentially a NIC card but like the NIC KILLER cards? Dang had to downgrade to 8Mb/s speed cause the dang ISP won't replace a broken router/modem even though it says they will replace it in their t & c... would i see much lag or what (i'm coming from 20Mbit speeds...)

I said increase health and people just laughed in my face on this forum but the health DOES need to be increased a smidge and maximum armour should be like in the demo.

no. its how we as an isp provider gets all customers out to the www. a gateway perhaps. it has nothing to do with a pc. just main system backbone components. if you have a cable isp (comcast, time warner, etc.) then you more than likely have a system with docsis 2.0. they have more download speed capibilities, up to 30 mps. our system is docsis 1.1 and the max for resisdential speeds are 10 mps, which is what i have. 8 might be enough but as long as there is no bottlenecking through your isp, then you should be fine. in my case, i played at lunch and all was fine until the last match, but then i may have been getting my ass kicked and didnt want to face it. lol. but when i play at night, everyone in my system will be trying to get online and that is when the bottlenecking will start, lag will happen to me playing c2 online, and i will get pissed off and quit.

DOCSIS 3.0 is already out, i have a netcard compatible for it and modem, a motorola surfboard when my ISP upgrades this summer. Cant wait, as the system will then be able to do up to 100mb ps. Im surprised to hear your ISP is still 1.1, do they plan to upgrade to 3.0 or at least 2.0?

yeah docsis 3.0 is badass. but my system is so small that i doubt well ever see 3.0. 2.0 is in the air. we replace old 1.1 modems with 2.0 compatible one, so if they ever do switch, well have some modems replaced. but if we have to replace several hundred of the modems plus the cost of an upgrade to the cmts, it wont happen anytime soon. so unfortunately, were stuck with this old ass 1.1 ****.
on another note, i believe i played on a team with or against you a couple days ago. your gt is pan---??? if so, blaze is on my friends list, send me a friend invite? cool.

oh thanks for the reply? so us normal people can't do nothing about it(do you work for an isp?)?
Some people say we might get Dedicated servers at the end of the month so lets hope so!
Well the company says no congestion so... I can always upgrade to 24Mb/s if its slowish(depending if my line is good enough!) - how would i know if its slower? my current internet has a 2megabyte download speed that i saw during a download
my last few games were better though but all players were from uk/europe...

no. we cant do a thing about it but bich and moan. lol. yes i work for an isp so thats how i have a little info about how this stuff works :) ded ser. would be sweet but ill believe it when i believe it. 24 mps is pretty good. more than enough for online gaming. you can check by either going to speedtest.net or pingtest.net. either will give you a good indication of your speed and pings. 2 mps wont be enough. so i would have a service call put in so you can have them come out and make sure everything is up to snuff so youre not getting any packet loss. and yes you are correct about having players from eu against instead of us, au, jp, etc. alot less lag. just a law of physics :)

Wrong.. sorry, I tested bandwidth usage during a match on multiple different games.
Being Host : 100 - 350 kbps, depending on the game, and the larger numbers are from the spikes.
Not Host : 30 - 70 kbps, depending on the game.

sorry buddy but i think you are on a diffenent topic. im talking about isp service mbs. they say you can use up to ???mbs. such as 2 mbs, 5 mbs, 10 mbs, etc. not what is going on in gameplay.

Yeah but you said you needed at least 5mbps for gameplay. Thats what I was going for, sorry for the misunderstanding.. :P IMO you need 1mbps for gameplay, 5mbps+ would be nice for a family though..
