So I'm doing the quest "For the Republic, Part 2". I chose to just kill Papa Khan in front of the Legion Guy, Regis and all the other Khans. I just massacred them.

Anyway, the quest won't complete. They are all dead in the longhouse.

My objective is still: Visit the Great Khans in Red Rock Canyon and either enlist their aid or destroy them.

Anyone know if this is a glitch or what's going on here? Is there another NPC I have to speak with before completing the quest? I've been looking around everywhere and cannot figure it out.

Did you go back and talk to the Colonel at the Dam?

Not all quests will update and tell you to go back to the quest giver.

Did you visit the Khan drug lab, head out down the cliff then towards the fighting pit, head right down a canyon and there will be some others there.

Di you have to take them out too? I have never done the Kill the Khans path, I have always helped them. Reason I ask is the drug makers are tied in with some quests.

I'm at Colonol Cassandra Moore right now in her office... she says "Yes, do you have an update on the Khans?" and my only two options are "I wanted to ask you more questions" and "Not yet. I'm still working on it."

Like I said.. Papa Khan is dead. Regis is dead. All the Khans are dead I murdered them all.

What gives?

On the wiki it says you have to kill 15 in total, so if you've not reached that total try heading to the Khan encampment where Melissa is.
Almost due south of red rock, just on the west side of junction quarry.
Try also the Hidden Khan merchant head south out of red rock and the burned out building will have a trap door leading to a hidden stash room, with two khans in it.
Or try waiting in another cell for three days.

@CCNA tbh I just made a quess, the words were to wipe out the Khans not the Khans leadership.
So I allways presumed every single Khan was the target.

I had to just find and kill one more elusive Khan. Annoying.
