I know this has been done before, but I think that since every DLC is out and most of us have had 364 days to play it, AND it's a year old tomorrow... I think it's appropriate.

Now that New Vegas is pretty much done and dusted developer-wise... and the probability that when Skyrim comes out we'll all forget about it...

What has been your favourite moment in the entire game?

Mine personally was the first long trek to Vegas, taking in the new music, landscape, characters and factions, just waiting to get to the city on the horizon.
Or the time on top of GS cemetary at night, looking over to New Vegas for the first time.

Hmm. each of my characters have had one of these. In order:

Archimedes: Courier supporting the NCR. Her greatest experience was beholding the sunken B-29, and being privileged enough to see the White Bird's glory and promise of the renewal of the Old World at Hoover Dam.

Victoria: Courier supporting the Legion. I never got the chance to finish her game, but her greatest experience was testing her strength against X-42.

Amy: Courier seeking to take over New Vegas herself. Enclave Loyalist. Her greatest experience was to fight alongside Raul and the Enclave Remnants on Hoover Dam, all armored in Remnants PA. "A reminder of why people once feared the sight of Vertibirds in the sky."

Athena: Courier supporting the NCR. Her greatest experience was looking down from the High Road.

But as for me, my favorite was encountering a Giant Radscorpion at Lvl 1 on my first playthrough. Given that this was the first time I had played a Fallout game, that encounter caused me to be freaked out by anything resembling a scorpion until about Lvl 15. Not afraid of BoS, NCR, Legion, Deathclaws, or anything but Radscorpions.
