Sorry if this has been asked before, but i used search function and didn't find any threads.

So, easy question: which of these Hero's is greatest. And this is of course based on main quest + expansion main quests. My own favorite will probably be Dragonborn, since after all, he beats god and Nerevarine being close second.

Also, here is little list of what everyone of those did, straight from UESP wiki:
Talin, the Hero of Arena (better known as the Eternal Champion)
Born in 3E 370[3], the hero reconstructed the Staff of Chaos and rescued Uriel Septim VII from his imprisonment at the hands of Jagar Tharn.

The Hero of Daggerfall (better known as the Agent)
Born in 3E 375[3], the hero was sent as an agent of the Empire to exorcise the spirit of a dead king, but ended on a quest that would change all of northwestern Tamriel.

The Hero of Battlespire (better known as the Apprentice)
Sent to the Battlespire to make way for the Shadow Legion, the hero found the spire captured by Mehrunes Dagon, and had to battle an army of daedra to rescue their companion.

Cyrus, the Hero of Redguard
Cyrus returned to Stros M'Kai to find his missing sister, and ended up leading his fellow Redguards in a rebellion against the empire.

The Hero of Morrowind (better known as the Nerevarine and the Blodskaal)
The hero was sent to Vvardenfell as a prisoner of the empire to fulfill a prophecy. As destiny unfolded, the hero battled against living gods, and then, in the frozen wastes of Solstheim, against the champions of Hircine.

The Hero of Stormhold (better known as the Master Tunnel Rat)
The hero was sent to Stormhold prison, where they were forced to clear the underground ruins in search of crystals. The hero slew the Mad Warden Quintus Varus, and used the Storm Crystal to remove the evil from the mining camp.

The Hero of Dawnstar
The hero was sent to the exile post of Dawnstar, which was besieged by the Ice Tribes. The hero revealed which of the town's champions was a traitor in league with the tribes, and emerged victorious from the ensuing battle.

The Hero of Shadowkey
The hero's destiny began when their home village of Azra's Crossing was attacked by bandits during the War of the Bend'r-mahk. The hero becomes entrenched in the war, and learns of an evil incarnation being created with shadow magic and the conflict caused by the ongoing war. This Shadow of Conflict, or Umbra' Keth, was sought by Jagar Tharn and Pergan Asuul for their own ends. The hero gathered the seven Star Teeth and destroyed the monster.

The Hero of Oblivion (better known as the Hero of Kvatch, Champion of Cyrodiil, Divine Crusader, and Madgod of the Shivering Isles)
Released by chance from prison in the Imperial City, this hero's tale began as a courier for Uriel VII and ended in the salvation of all Tamriel from the forces of Mehrunes Dagon. The hero saved Tamriel again by reuniting the Relics of the Divine Crusader, defeating Umaril the Unfeathered, and even visited Sheogorath's realm of insanity to battle the daedric prince and end an eons-long cycle of order and chaos, becoming the new Sheogorath, Prince of Madness.

And then of course Dragonborn, who beats Alduin.

I pick the God, lest madness descend on me (or not enough madness overtake me to keep life interesting). Come on, Sheogorath-CoC!

Dovahkiin is stopping the culmination of ALL those events so I gotta go with the Dovahkiin. He is stopping the World Eater. Something gods couldn't even manage to do completely. We shall see, Of those previous though. Gotta go with either the Nerevarine or CoC.

The Hero of Battlespire.

Why? Not only was (s)he just some green battlemage getting ready for the first day of training, but went deep behind enemy lines, was in the enemy's home turf, was a part of Hiricine's Hunt, was able to smooth talk his/her way through countless daedra and manipulated their politics, and went toe to toe with Mehrunes [censored] Dagon on MD's home turf.

The guy was the biggest BA, next to Cyrus, whose story will never be known.

I'd say the Eternal Champion next, as he did have to explore the most dangerous dungeons in all of Tamriel, and travel all over Tamriel. This adventure also took around a decade, so the guy had to have had a lot of willpower to continue a long ass journey to save his/her emperor.

Split between Champion of Cyrodiil and Dragonborn.

Champion of Cyrodiil managed to help save the entire world from Dagon. Makes the others look quite tame in comparison. Oh, you freed the Emperor? You helped a small section of the Empire? Fulfilled some prophecy in Morrowind?

Dragonborn, however, is likely going to be the biggest. Alduin is the culimation of everything that's happened in the past.

Champion of Cyrodiil, not for anything he did in the MQ, but mostly what he did in the thieves guild and Shivering Isles MQ. I mean, he rewrote time for someone else's lost love, and then became the lord of Madness. Plus, I feel he had the best sidequests. I mean, hell, he traveled into a world of paint, killed some trolls, and collapsed the whole pocket dimension. That's hardcoe.

Battlespire Initiate banished Dagon to Oblivion singlehandedly. And fully banished too, as in he went to the waters not just to his realm. He survived Hircine's hunt, and a horde of daedra too.

I almost went with Cyrus, though. That http://www.imperial-library.info/content/lord-vivecs-sword-meeting-cyrus-restless with Vivec was awesome.

Runner ups go to Eternal Champion and Daggerfall Agent.

Not much love for the Nerevarine here, huh? (In the posts, anyway.)

Anyway, since Skyrim isn't out yet, I'll probably have to go with either the Apprentice or Cyrus, for the reasons stated above.

That said, the Nerevarine and the Champion of Cyrodiil are the only ones I have any relationship to, so the Nerevarine gets my vote.

Personally, I think it's too soon to assume that the Dovakhiin is going to be stopping Alduin from eating the world.

The Hero of Battlespire fought Mehrunes Dagon in a daedra invasion and kicked all of their asses. The guy wasn't some errand boy, he was some green battlemage who single handedly repelled an entire army, along with big baddy himself, in a pocket realm of Oblivion. Yeah, he fought the daedra IN Oblivion, even Mehrunes Dagon and participated in the Wild Hunt.

You think there is going to be another Martin Septim to steal most of our glory? If we, the Dovahkiin, are able to stop Alduin ourselves that would be an epic achievement, and would probably move Dovahkiin to the top of this list.

Assuming he actually succeeds in stopping Alduin, a feat that not even Magnus could achieve, definitely the Dragonborn.

Also, why the hell is the Nerevarine so high on the list? He barely accomplished anything; all he did was end the Blight and defeat a mortal who fancied himself as a god. Meanwhile, the Champion of Cyrodiil saved not one, but two realms from total destruction, both Nirn and the Shivering Isles. I swear, the Morrowind nostalgia blinds people.

My list ends up being

I too think people give more credit to the nerevarine than the nerevarine really deserves.
