I imagine all the votes will go toward the Automatic Rifle/Holorifle, and I would agree with you :P

The BAR. 370 DPS, fully automatic, no bigs.

New weapon as in what? one they should add? One in the DLC? What?

If you mean one they should add, someone posted a tread about new weapons in which one posted a bad ass rocket launcher (the type from the original resident evil thats rectangular and has 4 barrels). Mostly just cuz its from RE. I mostly just use sniper rifles, so there's not much I want. I'd like it if they had more combat shotguns (they changed the name in NV, but I can't remember what), since I didn't even realize they were in till I decided to look it up on the Fallout wiki. They were my fav gun in 3, perfect for blasting off ghouls heads (esp. with vats, for the added pleasure of seeing it in slow-mo :hehe: ).

its times like these i wish i had a really good computer to play fallout on
i had morrowind on pc when i was a kid and remember downloading some wicked mods for that..
anyways do you think theyll put a deagle in fallout? to me it just seems it belongs there, the perfect deathclaw slaying gun.

I see the 12.7MM pistol as 'the desert eagle' of this game.
and the DE.50 kinda doesn't fit fallout if you ask me :confused:

12.7mm Pistol uses the EXACT same cartridge as the Desert Eagle, and has the same magazine capacity. That would be nothing more then a copypasta.

I'm on my first Dead Money playthrough (in the casino, dealt with Dean, now going to deal with the others) and I've used the Police Pistol a lot. Loaded with JFP handloads, it's great for taking out one or two Ghost People, allowing you to save your MF cells for the larger groups. I have 100 in Guns, though.

Regarding the Holorifle, the upgrades are well worth the SM chips once you find the vendor codes for them.

all of dead money's cool weapons were melee or unarmed (bear trap fists!). It was fine with me cuz I mostly use melee, but they should have added more guns (they prob didn't just cuz its much harder to kill the ghost people with).

It was in the first game, Fallout 2, and Fallout: Tactics. It absolutely fits Fallout, the 50s/60s theme is a guideline, it is often bent in the series.




I honestly don't use any of the DLC weapons out of the DLC. I'd probably use the Holorifle if my character was an EW specialist, though. The Police Pistol was pretty cool.

None of the DLC weapons really made me wet, they were just tools and in some cases not very good ones, i can not wait to finish up dead money so i can get back to some real guns. I primarily use .308, .44, and .357 so even though the police revolver is .357 it still is not as cool as the noname .357 i use in the normal game (yes the noname is a mod but unlike some modded weapons it is not OP), and it looks cool too, it has some character.

This i more of a opinion thing.
And i meant it more in the way of, we already have a pistol that fill that gap so we don't really need it.

I just wish that the police pistol and cosmic knife superheated would benefit from the cowboy perk/pyromaniac perk respectively (cosmic knife superheated would receive both of these). It would have made them just a tad bit more special imo. Did they do that intentionally or was it just forgetful coding and will be patched later?

svcks for me I'm on the PS3. Still, I thought all knives were covered under the cowboy perk but the wikia says otherwise for the cosmic knife but with know reasoning for it. They applied pyromaniac to the .50mg flaming rounds and Chance's knife is affected by the cowboy perk correctly. I don't understand if this was done intentionally or was just a slip up. I was hoping someone here might have inside info on the subject. Thanx for the reply.
