Greek Character

Post » Sat Mar 29, 2014 1:57 pm

I am going for a Greek-inspired character. I have decided that my apparel and weapons will be as follows:

-Imperial Helmet (Closed)

-Light Imperial Bracers

-Steel Shin Boots

-Dawnbreaker

I just need help trying to find out what kind of Armor (torso) I ought to be wearing. Suggestions? Also, is Dawnbreaker leveled? Any others tips and suggestions?

The Imperial cuirass is more like Roman-armor, which is not the Greek style I seek. The Stormcloak cuirass isn't exactly good either. Thanks though.

What Greek style are you looking for? After a quick googling I would say that Tullius' armor is the most "Greek" in style (keep in mind that the Romans "borrowed" pretty much everything from the Greeks...).

After doing my own research, I found that the Hide Armor isn't to bad.

Maybe the Fur Armor without the top would be fine too.

Are there any more 'skirt' clothing? I don't know the correct word for it, sorry.

You could try steel plate armor. Also no, Dawnbreaker is not leveled.

You could try Ancient Nordic armor. That might suffice.

Imperial or Dwarven + Dwarven helmet.

Athenians used bronze armor. Dwarven armor is the closest in both style and color.

It depends on whether your Greek is a common soldier, or a Hero type - the hero type should be wearing the gaudiest and most expensive heavy armor that he or she found during their advenure!

Consider Oddyseus Laertieds (I probably typo'd the last name), Theseus, Perseus, Heracles, and the Argonauts - would they not take advantage of the very best armor they found, especially if it were enchanted?

~ I'd go right for the Dwarven, Bud. But the closest thing to a Greek Helmet I saw was the Imperial Guards helmets with the horse-hair crests. I have this impression from stories I've read about the Trojan War that had illustrations of the fighting.
