Greenmangaming Early Access

Post » Sat Mar 29, 2014 9:00 pm

I just wanted to confirm how this works, I just pre-ordered it from GMG and so far I just have a email with the order id and nothing else, how will the early access work? is there suppose to be a code sent later on when the 3 day early access starts (only 3 day from GMG but it saves me £20 so I'm happy losing 2 days) or should I already have it? I tried to redeem the order ID code to be sure and that did nothing and theres no other code. Don't want to reach time early access starts THEN find out something went wrong and waste the whole of early access trying to figure out what went wrong.

The early access code is in the same email as your order confirmation. Look for it below the payment details. Use that code at account.elderscrollsonline.com and it will add your early access.

hmmm all I see in the order confirmation is the order ID number and a message saying it will be dispatched in time for the release date.

Hope so, it might be cos I've only just ordered it so they're making sure the payments gone through properly, guess I'll check my emails tomorrow THEN start to worry if I've not got anything yet.

hmm im my email the key is in the same email as the order confirmation, scroll down and read it all.

its only early access and probably w/e you get pre release, there should be another email on its way with a key to unlock it properly, should be on the 4th or within 48 hours after

At GMG website if you look at your account under "Games" and click on "Others" it should show your game and key.

I pre-ordered the standard dvd version from GMG on March 16th and I'll admit I was getting rather concerned. Other than an email confirmation of my order I'd heard nothing, no early access code, no explorer's code and nothing showing up on either my game or order tab (this was the first time I'd used GMG). It got so that this morning I actually tried to cancel my order, but was informed that the game had already been dispatched.

And lo and behold, it arrived later this morning. What I got was : One box containing the game and both the Explorer's Pack code and the actual game code. A second box clearly marked 'Exclusive Pre-Order' which contained my early access code. So now I'm all set and ready to go.

Just posting this to reassure others new to GMG that everything will probably be ok and there's no need to worry about the apparent lack of communication.

If for whatever reason you didn't receive the email containing the EA key, you can do the following:

  1. Go to https://www.greenmangaming.com/user/account/ and log-in.
  2. Go to "Games" tab, and unhide the "Others" section.
  3. "The Elder Scrolls? Online" should be there. If it's not here, then that means your order didn't go through, i.e. payment problem.
  4. The key that's available next to "The Elder Scrolls? Online" should be the EA key. It should be a 20-characters key without any spacing.

You who say you get 3 day early access, did you pre order standard edition from GMG, when you get 20% off buying imperial?

I ordered the box copy and I've still not got anything :( I've checked the games tab but it just says I don't have any games yet I can't find a others tab. I've checked my account and it says the money has gone out BUT the balance is the same is just available thats down so it could be that its still processing the order...

I ordered 2 Imperial Editions from GMG.com. I was not aware you could get a physical edition from there.

It is quite possible that GMG.com ran out of code if you have checked your account there as others above have stated. They probably moved the most units as their sales were splashed all over various ESO forums and there is no advertising like word of mouth.

Now you know that it is not a good idea to wait till after a game is shipped or Early Access is about to start to pre order. As a human I sympathize but as a gamer I have to say that is what you get for waiting and then going the cheapest possible route. Personally I think pre order bonus should have been cut off like a week ago as do you really think someone who pre orders a day before deserves the same bonuses as someone who pre order months and months ago maybe that is just me.
