Grenades or Molotovs?

I would have to go with grenades for security and molotovs for the resistance. Kinda add to the rp/story line. Security gets issued weapons but the resistance, we gotta make our own in a way.

If Molotovs are splash, and do not do any damage, but simply knock everyone caught down? Well, that's a nice change, I'd like to see how that game mechanic works, it might be better than nades, but might not. I'll use both and get a feel for which situation each one works best in.

Grenade, all classes have it.

Molotov Cocktails are class specific... and look awkward when the Security use them.

Both essentially do the same amount of "damage": instant knockdown.

Out of the choice between grenades and molotovs (even though molotovs are class specific), which would you prefer and why?

For me, I feel like molotovs are a lot more effective due to the fact that they explode on impact, unlike grenades (i assume) that are on a timer. That'll make it easier to hit people with them. Plus, they are just way more BA :mohawk:

Well, you can cook the grenades supposedly, but I find that tossing a grenade into a room is more likely to flush the enemy out into your LoF, where as tossing in the molotov is more likely to set off a chain of take the damage and heal, so I think it's a situational thing for me.
