I want to use a crazy grenadier guy, and he ONLY use grenader, even in close quarter, so I want to do hughe damage and laugh to my won explosion. I have 2 doubts

1) ALL my chars have light armor, never use heavy armor. See if this right

.T - 51b = 25 DT

. Eite Riot Gear Helmet = 6 DT

. Some Hat (can use with Riot Helmet) = 1 DT

. Nuka Quartz (Nuka Chemist) = 2 DT

. Wasteland Tequila (Whiskey Rose/Survival 90) = 9 DT

. Reinforced Spine = 2 DT

. Camarader E = 2 DT

. Toughness = 3 DT

Total = 50 DT.....just like Joshua Graham. (later in the game, I can substitute Tb 51 for The Remmants........but forget this for now)

But the main goal here is my own explosion, so I have to take in count Hit the Deck = 25 DT

Total = 75 DT

Is this right? Or I forget something? Can I raise this even more?

EDIT: Ops, Sub Dermal Armor = 4 DT.

Toughness can be picked 2 times = 6 DT

Remannts armor and helmet = 36 DT

Nuka Quartz (Nuka Chemist) = 2 DT

Wasteland Tequila (Whiskey Rose/Survival 90) = 9 DT

Reinforced Spine = 2 DT

Camarader E = 2 DT

Hit The Deck = 25 DT

Total = 86 DT against explosion With low health and Nerd Rage = 101 DT

2) whats the formula to calculate this auto self damage. Lets say to a neutral char

Neutral Char - Level 30

S - 5

P - 5

E - 5

C - 5

I - 5

A - 5

L - 5

Perks: Demolition Expert rank 3, Grunt.

No drugs effect

Explosives = 100

DT = 75

WEAPON = NUKA GRENADE

EDIT: Just saw that you mentioned the remnants. Just going to say that you may want to consider DR-giving chems for major fights, like deathclaws. just beware of deathjaws.

Yeah, you right. Never care much to chems. I always play in very hard dificult, and use Implant GRX for major fights, like Legion hit squad and the final assault in Lonesome Road, but this time not gonna pick this broken perk. (the only shame in this decision that I not gonna take all the 37 golden bar )

And you mentioned Deathclaws. That monster cover a large space in a short time, so the close quarter fight is a reality.

Anyway, start my char yesterday and follow the script (Goodspring - Primm - That Ranger Post with statues - Nipton). As the time I arrive in NIpton, my two arms are broken. Underestimated the power of explosion, so maybe I not gonna take the Splah Damage perk, because:

1) Start to afraid for my companions

2) Some ways of combat like melee, sniper and shotguns, you can free yourself from the Vats, but grenades......synergy with vats like soda pop and popcorn

As far as I know, Hit The Deck! gives you 25DT as long as you have explosives equipped.

The wikia says

Anyway, I think I gonna drops this char. Explosives are TO powerful, makes the game SO easy, even in very hard Leader Viper dies more faster then a cockroach hits with a fatman.

Made Come Fly with me and the quest are a piece of cake. And the mad bomber gives you unlimited grenades. 3 MCF = 1 grenade.

Remind me Skyrim. If you made a Archer, the first hours are tough, but after you pick all the perks, is almost impossible to die (Master dificult).

I wish the game gives you a option to do a Tribal char.....try before, but the weapons I want to use are very rare (Throwing spear/hatchet/knife). Maybe a more modern tribal dude, with Medicine Stick......dont know, Im out of ideas and full of desire to play some Fallout.
