Yes, it seems the Fy71 I purchased is defective, i do have the DLC2, i own the FY71, and i hate using it because I get the feeling im playing against children when i use it, I randomly cycle through out weapons in this game to make it interesting, and i have never felt such disgust for a gun such as the FY71, its utterly stupid to whore oneself to the strongest weapon, what logic is there in that?

I don't like any of the sights not even the reflex sight so i use Iron Sights, and the FY is the only weapon whose Iron Sights i like, also like the sound and feel of the FY too, as well as Gauss Attachment, and sometimes i go MIKE.
At least i ain't a stat harvester at the expense of the rest of my team's enjoyment (not talking about you CoolGuy), i play the team game, try for crazy kills, like to tag and enjoy giving my team cover at the crash site with some 'Spray & Pray'.
Yes i enjoy the game too, i ain't a frantic player though cause i don't see what the rush is.

Unfortunately I didn't write the results of the what the fy71's effective range was. It could end up being the same effectively as the grendel. FY71's 3 hit range is probably 50 metres, whilst the grendels is 40. Though with a silencer, the fy71's effective 3 hit range would reduce.

The only thing on the balance thats different is that the fy71 probably has a higher single shot rate. Overall, the fy71 is about 5% better than other guns. In the hands of a good player a 5% advantage in all ranges except ultra long, is quite a lot.
