GRENDEL needs an improvement

Guys, i′ve tried everything with this gun but... hell... this gun has no place if you take the other Assault rifles into account.

Just want to hear your thinkings about this gun. For me , this gun is just...well ... one less weapon in the equation.

Statistics show that it has more power and accuracy than vanilla SCAR but ingame this just doesnt match reality. Even in semiauto mode it takes like 7 shots media to take down a full energy armored-moded enemy. This weapon needs to be more powerful to match the almighty overpowered FY71 or even the allwellrounded SCAR.

Crytek, please, give a place to this weapon.

Grendel is a beast... you just got to have a good aim...
...and different playstyle than spraying scar-(abs)

Like S0V3|23iGN said you really need to have a good aim if you want to use Grendel and it is the best weapon to use single shot with. But again you need to make sure that the dot is over the target when you fire and not like the usual "epileptic seizure" aiming of spray weapons.

With the Grendel you need to aim then shoot, unlike the other full auto machine guns where you can start spraying as you aim and do well. Grendel has nice range and can pick someone off from across the map if you aim perfectly. With a silencer attached, most if the time it takes two 3 round bursts to headshot enemies. I just finished the elite 500 headshot challenge for the Grendel. I found for it to really be effective, against the scar for example, you need to always aim for the head and be accurate with every burst. Even then, sometimes it won't drop the enemy quick enough and you'll lose the standoff.

Grendel is fine its the game type that doesn't work with it. Yes you need better aim and a different style of play for the grendel than with full auto weps, but the reason it doesn't seem as effect is because of the speed in which players move. This is kind of a sci-fi type game its not realistic movements at all so burst weapons don't work as well against players that can sprint super fast and wear armor. Plus if more than one guy is on you it is totally unrealistic in this game to aim, take out the first guy and re-aim onto the second one and survive while taking them both out. With full auto weps its not so hard to take out two guys at once if you get the drop on them.

The grendel could use a faster bullet travel time to make it different from the other automatics.

I used to hate the Grendel, but I'm learning to like it. It's great to clean the crash site if you are at long range, but if somebody comes close to you... You are out of luck.

It's good if you use it how the people before me said. But having said that the Scarab and other guns still actually kill more quickly...........

And if you're going to use semi auto, just use the Scar because both guns do the same damage with semi auto
