Grendel reference?

Post » Thu May 12, 2011 3:27 pm

Hello, and sorry for the stupid topic. I'm in school. Bored to death, and I just remembered how I though a Grendel reference or quest or something would be pretty cool. Or like an easter egg, finding Grendel's cave?

Skyrim: You slay dragons.

And now Beowulf is all summed up in TES. :hehe:

Only if one kills you in the end, but yeah, been there, done that, doesn't need to happen again.

Oh no. Grendel and the Dragon were unrelated. Grendel's step brother is Steve. He lives in Massachusetts and is a used car salesman. I bought a Bonneville from him. Nice guy.

I'm sure the dragons will be related in some way to nordic/keltic sagas. I remember that in Oblivion there was a Nord named Fafnir, which is also the name of a dragon in the Edda. I guess we're gonna see something like that.
