Grey Face problem

Post » Wed Jun 04, 2014 1:29 am

So I downloaded this awesome mod based on aela and her open personality. It's called ESFAela. A nexus mod.

Problem is it was having conflicts with one of my mods that I use to mod her character earlier. I did everything, even deleting the character in that mod (which made her vanish until I disable my mod) and boom, she came back. but she still has that grey face and I can't tell you how many times I Alt + F4 her face.

Now before you ask I'll answer, yes I gone on this mod (Not mine, the one I downloaded) and modified her face. Which is something I usually don't do, but the maker of this mod didn't modify her face the way I like it. That's it. That's when her grey face started showing up. I may even have to delete the mod I disabled and remake it (Which isn't an issue. Only rehashed like 6 vanilla NPC's and tossed in a couple of my own made up mods, which wasn't suppose to be the purpose of the mod.) So my own fault.

Anyway, how am I suppose to solve this grey face problem? Please help!

I believe if your going to try and use a different face for Aela it will conflict with Enhanced Aela or Enhanced Companions. If I'm thinking of the same mod at least. Its listed right there on the mod's main page by the creator of the mod. I believe if you install the face replacer mod AFTER the enhanced mod you should be ok.

However did you uninstall the mod or just delete the files? ALWAYS uninstall the mod, don't delete it. And are you doing manual installs or using an installer like Nexus Mod Manager?

I use Enhanced Companions and an Aela face replacer mod. Other then making sure my load order was correct, I never had an issue.

This topic would better serve you if you hit the report button and ask a mod to move it to the mod forum.

The gray face is a result of a mod conflict.. It was common when the face mods came out. However, the best place to start is listing your load order wrapped in spoiler tags and a screenshot or two in good lighting to see exactly what we are dealing with, pending if it is just the face or the entire head and if it stops at the neckline.

..nvmd. I misred the OP.
