Grow a Beard for Skyrim!

Post » Thu Feb 17, 2011 2:47 am

Screw it, I'm in!

Why don't you make a charity of it? You get people to donate to see your beard growing? Lol, I dunno. Might be nice to find a cause or something.

How about donating money to Bethesda for more development time if they cut down features for pretty graphics and growing beard on the side?

I'll be turning 18 in January and my beardy goodness is only really starting to happen. Maybe by then I'll have a decent one going :celebration:
For now I'll have to live with sweet chops.

I think they already have quite a bit of money.

So the girls who want to contribute with beardyness but don't have a man in their life can grow their leg hair?

Way ahead of you on that one :P

I like the cut of your jib OP..

woe is me and my puny facial hair genes.

Doing the best my genetics will allow (nothing grows on the cheeks)

I don't know, man.. Being only 16 and all. I guess having only some fuzz and stubble will not really protect my face or attract any females.
So I guess I'm still shavin' :P

Damn - GREAT idea for dedicated fans!! :)

However I look like a deformed freak when I try to grow a beard, just wasn't meant to be for me.

Will an appropriate costume at the pre-order parties suffice? :)

I think I might just go the whole-hog and grow a Gandalf-type beard.

11 months? That's far too long! My beard will have consumed my entire body by then. I currently have about an inch that's down to just under two months of no shaving (laziness :P). However, I can tell you that it did nothing for me during my trip to the frozen wastes of the north (Okay, Scotland, but -23 degrees C is still damn cold!). My chin still got cold!

I have been trying to grow a beard for 24 years (yeah, since birth!) with no significant success. Maybe Skyrim will be so epic that I will grow one instantly due to the sheer Nordic awesomeness.

This is remarkably similar to my story. It’s even worse because there are some epic BGS beards which I get to see everyday to remind me of my own inability to achieve bearditude. :(

Maybe I need one of those knit hats with a built-in beard.

Actually, I didn't start getting a beard that could be called a beard until I turned 25. So I guess it varies for some people.

I'm 19 and I need to shave every few days or I look like a tramp

It's not all good news though. My beard, unlike my hair, is ginger. I don't really know what caused this

This is the greatest idea ever. Glad I seen it before I decided to shave.

Same way with me! Dark blond hair with a red beard, although I'm not sure why your saying it's bad news

I'm fine with red hair, it's just my hair is dark brown so my beard doesn't match at all

I'm behind this one hundred percent. Of course, I will be a spectator in this activity as Sheogorath had mandated that my growing facial hair be impossible.

I'm unemployed so I need to keep myself warm during these cold winter months anyway. Time to start growing right now!. I'll only stop if I manage to find a job that forces me to shave.
