I am 14, the least I can do is let my moustache grow, but damn I will look ugly.

Actually, I didn't start getting a beard that could be called a beard until I turned 25. So I guess it varies for some people.

Yeah, sometime between the ages of 24, when I joined the military, and 30, when I separated, I magically gained the ability to grow a decent beard, aside from the cheek issue that I mentioned earlier.

I can't seem to get anything to grow on my cheeks either except some rogue strains of beard that I constantly shave off. <_<

I'm fine with red hair, it's just my hair is dark brown so my beard doesn't match at all

I'm the same way, but you get used to it. And the sheer awesomeness of having a red beard is worth the oddity of a different head hair color.

pff, we Nordmenn, Norwegians, are nord enough already to begin with

Hah, and don't forget the Swedes. I've got both in my blood, as well as a good portion of Scottish and German, so I've got the beard thing already covered.

That would be great. ... Now, it would just need different grow speed depending on the race. And depending on race wether or not the it will be able to grow a beard.

Man, I wish I could grow a beard, all I have is like 5 hairs on the underside of my chin. Bear in mind that I am 14.

Edit: haha, I am the same age as Silvade!

Never forget us Swedes! Even though history may see us as cowards we havnt forgot our good old viking blood and can still take up that war axe when it is needed!

So the girls who want to contribute with beardyness but don't have a man in their life can grow their leg hair?

:lmao:

This appeals to the lazy woman in me. I say we go for it.

Being only 20, my beard hasn't fully grown in yet....

I was into my early thirties before I could fill in the missing patches. :swear: It's why I always sported a goatee if I grew anything until my 30's. I don't shave out of laziness, nor necessity to do so. No girl, job, or anything worth shave for daily.

I just happen to be growing a beard right now...been about 3 weeks.

I'm about 3 weeks myself. I almost shaved it yesterday. It's just shy of the longest it's ever been. I kinda hate them, but here I am, with a beard. Now, I may take up this challenge and go Grizzly Adams til Skyrim comes out.

Wow, you're younger than me!

*looks at Oblivion box*

BAD SILVADE, YOU'RE NOT OLD ENOUGH! *takes game and deletes files :P*

I'm only 15, so I can't grow one either... but I'll try!

My beard is already older than most of the people posting on this thread. However, if there are fire-breathing dragons around, it might be safer to shave it off :flamethrower:

And so it began, The Men of the Bethesda Forums let their beards flow free like mead from a pitcher. And The Nine were pleased.

They searched amongst the beardiest of Bethesda beardo's looking for he to be worthy of the long flowing moustache of the dragon born, Alas, none could grow awesomeness of that magnintude. The sacred moustache was not found.

I've been able to grow a full beard since i was 14, I even had a competition with my Geography teacher to see who could grow a full beard the fastest. I would have won two if it wasnt for that meddling head teacher and school rules on appearance...

I havent shaved since the end of October, in preperation for No shave November. I was planning on shaving soon but I really cant be bothered, so it looks like I'll be channeling the ancient routes of Anglo Saxon and their viking invaders to continue to grow some awesomeness on my face for the next 11 months.

Huzzah for the face fuzz!

EDIT: I also start to get red facial hair, but only when I regularly shave. How odd.

I don't really have a beard (I mostly have a mustache capability, for now...which I shave, because if I don't, I would only look like a "[censored]" that is proud to show his "manly" mustache), but I shave from time to time... and with my 18 years, I am kind of starting to have a beard, but I am shaving it, because it wouldn't look really good if I don't...

Fantastic idea! :)I love beards! :D They have to be really styled though, no frizzy crap that looks dirty :S I'm 25 myself and I've still quite a few patches left before I can even start growing one myself. Have been wanting a beard my whole life, mainly because I have very long hair. And with a beard, I can have loads of hairstyles without looking gay :P

I live in Canada, so I'll be living through months more snow before the summer even comes, and then I'll have to wait until winter again for 11-11-11. Being only 20, my beard hasn't fully grown in yet and though I croon to it and encourage it every night with gentle strokes and offers of treats, it remains quite straggly and refuses to grow evenly. However, I have a decent enough Goatee I'd say, and I will continue to coax it until the day of Skyrim comes. I was going to do this anyway though so you haven't convinced anyone yet. I imagine it would make for a fairly awkward conversation too:

-So, why did you decide to grow your beard out?

-For the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

-Oh.....I have somewhere I have to be, good day.

You can simply say you're growing your beard for the hockey season. ;)

I already have a nice, big beard. But I'm afraid I'm shaving it to keep an awesome 80's stache for the new year. No worries, though, it'll grow again.

As a man of norse ancestry, I can grow a pretty nice beard. Too bad it wouldn't look good for my current job field.

And as a Quebecor, I could grow a beard (but I barely have one...well it's starting), maybe there will be a discount for those who buy the game with a good beard.

I'm 39, and have about 50 grey hairs on my chin. It's kinda neat looking actually. A little salt with my pep....brown hair. (Nutmeg? :P)

I've already got a beard, but I keep it pretty trim. When it gets too long it gets scruffy and itchy, but for Skyrim it may be worth it.

As for tracking progress my beard is currently as follows:
