i would love to do that, but I have to find a job, and employers don't like people with long hair and bushy beards when they are hiring people.. At least that has been my case.

As much as I like the idea of growing a beard I like to keep mine at a okay length (I'm 18), still I will have a go but I'm going to give it either to this weekend or about a month as some formal event will crop up. =(

Good luck guys (and gals? . . .)

1 months growth of beard down. A couple left to go, who knows I may even choose to keep my nordish beard after the release of the game!

Beards are against Navy Uniform Regulations. Otherwise I'd give it a whirl, though I don't get the lumberjack beard.

You may actually have a severe hair growth hormone imbalance.

Seek help immediately.

In the mean time craft your beard and take pictures and send them to Beth to inspire the possible facial hair in Skyrim.

If me and my beard are still alive I'll post a picture of two when Skyrim is upon us.

For now, it's not really a beard, it's more of a sentient tiny(not actually tiny, but not HUEG either) being on my face.

This is a pretty funny idea to grow a beard for Skyrim. :) It's true that a beard protects your face from cold, and because it's cold in my country during winter I don't shave as often as usual. I hate shaving, but unfortunately I can't just stop shaving because of work reasons. And I'm going to play an Argonian anyway - wish I was one so I didn't have to shave. :D

What are you going to do if you're not going to play a race with a beard?
- Khajiits, start growing whiskers.
- Argonians, start buying a LOT of warm clothing. Or get fatter. (my avatar has this covered )

Unfortunately I have a patch on the bottom of my chin that refuses to grow hair so it looks really weird when I haven't shaven in a while.

Anyone else joining in on the beard growing? I can't, due to being a femmy Asian boy, but the Nordlier of you sure can.

Nah. I allways play twenty-somethings characters without much facial hair. No reason really. That's just the way I like it ;) . So if my character doesn't have a beard, why should I?

There is one beard that I've always wanted, but unfortunately, can't have. The epic beard of Gerard's King Leonidas.

My beard only grows on the neck, lower chin, moustache and the sideburns. Not the most essential, cheeks and chin. :(
