Grow a Beard for Skyrim! #2

Post » Wed Mar 09, 2011 5:30 am

Alas, I cannot grow a beard.

That, I can do.

Well, women can grow a baby for Skyrim...:D It might be a little late cause the perfect time to start would have been 2-11-2011, but if you start now you'll have time to play Skyrim for couple of weeks before the baby is born. Of course you keep playing Skyrim after the baby is born and the first language he/she learns is dragon language.

There is one beard that I've always wanted, but unfortunately, can't have. The epic beard of Gerard's King Leonidas.

I've always wanted the beard of Pai Mei. Would love to throw it over my shoulder with a fast hand move like he does, plus it would get me a lot more credibility at work, you know that guru-look... or not. :D

Beards are great for a while but then they just itch and make you wanna tear your chin off. Plus if you leave 'em too long you end up looking like a homeless person.

I already have a beard. Had it for about fifteen years now. Letting it get all scruffy looking isn't really an option, though, my job requires me to keep it trimmed.

You guys that are worried about growing a beard and not getting girls? There are plenty of girls out there that like beards. Even better are the ones that like you for you, and don't care what's growing on your face. :hubbahubba:

And about ChiChub - are you serious? Sue the bastards! Men have the right to be masculine!

Hehe' it doesn't work like this. I don't like the idea that beardy bushy waiter carries me my soup! :)

So there are soem requirements and codes like this, like for flight attendants have to be high enough to reach the compartments easily, etc, etc...

Have an honest Abe growing comfortably. About 2 cm if measured as is. There's even a moustache, but it's reluctant to growing for some reason.

I doubt I'll ever grow a beard facial hair larger than http://eslatele.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/spartacus.JPG (well, maybe 3-4 days larger, that's how it turns when I shave it). I'm able, genetics-wise, but I consider it way too unconfortable.

What does it take for a guy to get his all powerful beard noticed around here?:P Mine is the standard that all you beard growers must strive to meat before Skyrim comes out :P

Maybe I would, but I can't. My job requires me to be clean shaven.

Beards are itchy, smelly, and hard to keep clean.... no thank you!

EDIT: It doesn't help that my hair is thick and bristly like steel wool.

Beards are only itchy in the stubble Phaze, and you clean it by washing it :P just like the hair on your head.

Not only am I growing out my facial-scrub... but when it gets long enough, I'm BRAIDING it into dual splits and going old-school Power Beard.

Right now, I just sort of look Amish... but its getting longer by the week. As soon as the mustache grows in, I'll give that a good twisting, too. Maybe I should find some beads and runes and the like! Make it even more potent.

Well, rutting seaso.....I mean spring has sprung, and it's time for a shave. Both head and face. I refuse to grow my hair any longer and it would just look dumb with a #2 crop and beard. (I've seen the look, and it looks, wrong, as well as dumb. Maybe because it was on a skinhead and I can't separate the 2 from one another.)

Plus I'll be house hunting in the near future so I want a cleaner, more rent worthy look.

So, http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v482/jasonsteele/Everything%20Else/Beard4Skyrim.jpg is my final contribution to this cause. Bethesda should be proud, I've never grown a beard this long for anything. I much prefer clean shaven to minor stubble. (Up to 3 maybe 4mm long due to laziness.) I'd walk through splinters of glass bare foot, on fire for TES games. Growing a beard this long is just as torturous when you're not use to it. :P At least when it's short, I don't notice when it falls in my food. Now, I look down and see what could easily be mistaken for crotch hair. :yucky:

Aaaannyway. :whistling: How's it going for others? Still hanging in there?

I've been growing a beard, but sadly when I go back to work this summer I'll have to shave it.

Beard nets don't work when you have to deal with the public and cook at the same time.

Wear a beard net and a face mask! :ahhh:

Since females and teeny, tiny facial hairs that down't grow...

All you would need to do is get some hair growth suppliments, and once it gets to a certain length you could shave it three or four times,

then you would just be one of the guys!.
