I was almost your age when I played the first Fallout, and I'm excited to play (My wife...not so much).

Well you're not going to get excited over taxes, traffic jams, responsibility, and making a noise when you get up off a chair.

I'm 43.. I skip everywhere for no reason. It is after all a very good speed to travel by foot.. so it wasn't really strange at all that I skipped around when fallout 4 was announced.

As you age, your more likely to groan from the pain endured rising from the sitting or reclining position.

Yeah, that's the ticket.

Been playing games since my grandparents gave me an intellivision when i was about 7.
Turn 37 next Saturday- thirty years of gaming excellence. I am picking up an X-Box 1 as a birthday present... So I can play F4 in November (otherwise I'd stick with what I have already).

Ah now i get it. Although i have the same breaking-bamboo sound, since as long as i can remember playing video games at the computer (from 12y onward), only i dont get any pain from it.

I'm 37 and I still get excited about video games. And why not? Tax time svcks. being a responsible advlt paying bills and working 10hr days isn't exciting. Let me grin like a school girl and giggle when I install FO4 on my PC. :D

when i saw the E3 demo at work, I "squee'd" loudly for a bit. many heads were turned.

10/10 would attract the weird look at work again.

There is no shame if you still enjoy it. The only people who would look down upon you for doing something you enjoy are old folks who had the joy svcked out of them long ago, and replaced with malice and hatred to anything and anyone who isn't like them.

Or the cops, because you've been on that kiddie swing for ages now and are creeping out all the other advlts at the playground.

I have two dates marked in my calendar at work, and both are Fallout 4 related. The first was the E3 demo, the second is the release date. I also took the time to write on my work calendar a countdown to release day. 124 in case anyone didn't track it themselves.

I also got permission from my wife to remodel a room in our basemant as my game cave, and I only have two games on my wish list, Forza 6 and Fallout 4. I am building a seat set up using an old Miata seat for playing Forza to take my mind off how long it will be until I get Fallout. I have a new Sony 43" 4K TV picked out, a new recliner, carpet, moving my mini fridge to the room. It has easy access to a bathroom, and outside door for a smoke break that will allow me to keep playing while I enjoy a Camel.

Life is good!

This topic is like a warm bed, with happy, nice sheets :)

Too bad I wasn't even born when Fallout 2 came out.

Sweet!! Let's see now. You'll need 4 shocks for that Mazda seat, a pump, some valves and tubing, and a way to translate the action in Forza to the shocks. :D

Bethesda is the one company that gets that sort of excitement from me. I get interested in video games, but Fallout and Elder Scrolls are the two series that I love to play. Watching the E3 presentation got me hyper excited. Now I am obsessed and anxious for November to roll around. I too took a week's worth of vacation (which translates to nine days because I took it between my normal days off on either side of the week) and can't wait to "waste" time immersing myself in an all new world. Not that it matters, but 43 here.
