I'm 38 and am getting married this year and Fallout is the highlight of the year, lol.
haha, I'm like you man. I was on a trip to Paris with my girlfriend, I was there for about three weeks, saw the Eiffel Tower, spent a day in the Louvre, went to Italy saw the Sistine Chapel, but at night, my mind was on Skyrim (this was about the time it came out, I had just bought it before I went on the trip) lol.
That pip-boy edition does look cool though, I might get that. I know that edition is going to be worth a lot in the future.
25 here, I don't really get excited for anything nowadays but that's because I've grown jaded and bitter.
There's nothing pathetic about being excited for something though, it means you still have the capacity to get excited in the first place, which is something I envy.
When the first F4 trailer was released, I watched it several times and it actually made me a little light-headed. In a good way,
When Skyrim was released, my first born was just 6 months old, and i had just bought a new car, and started a great new job as a service engineer. but when i put Alduin's tail on while installing the game I thought "Best day of my life" I am now in my 30s. No worries, there is never any harm in staying young inside. In fact, with how much my sons love playign with me now I am fairly confident it's made me a more understanding father.
Sorry to mushy up your thread, just thought you should know, perfectly normal.
I don't get as excited for fallout games as I do for TES games, but it easily slides into my "second favourite game franchise" category and gets me hyped.
I'm 26 and I get super excited over video games. Fallout 4 and Battlefront are the two games I'm looking forward to the most.
Oh, and Mario Maker for the Wii U. Shut up.
Well this game wasn't supposed to be for kids, even back then it was 18+, not like it did matter, because we were playing it anyway, and then we laughed our asses off on all the swearing in it.
Not pathetic at all.
In my 50's and am well pleased to have a Pip Boy on order.
I was in nerd heaven during the Bethesda Showcase.
My daughters are used to this (all are old enough to play Fallout).
I introduced them to point-click games as soon as they were able to sit on my knee and move a mouse, around a year old...
pretty sure thousand and thousands of middleaged men worldwide shrieked from excitement like a teenage girl during the E3 conference
pretty sure i
48 here and stayed up to watch the E3 presentation. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. In the morning I couldn't wait to show my wife all the cool stuff. I finally bought a new Xbox One just to play this game, and am planning to remodel a room in my basemant so I can play without being disturbed!
Whatever makes us a happy, right? I'm pretty pumped for a fall where I get a new James Bond movie, Fallout 4, and what looks like an awesome Star Wars movie and game. Celebrate!
Sounds like fun times all round, especially the part where you mentioned Fallout 4. I'm in my 40s and I'm even dreaming about the game already!
EDIT: and just in case you're wondering, I don't look or sound anything like Liam Neeson IRL. Just wanted to put that out there.
I was 37 when I bought Fallout (1). I'll be 55 when Fallout 4 comes out; can't wait!
I won't grow up... you can't make me!
nah, As a 22 year old coming to a point in my life where I leave the title of full time student behind and enter the "real" world, it gives me hope and inspiration that you don't have to be a child to play video games. Hopefully, Devs don't solely focus on how to market and make games so that frustrated mindless 14 year olds will like them.
I'm 43 and unabashedly giddy as a schoolgirl over FO4.
Old enough to be retired, sitting around on my ass and typing in this topic.
