GTX 460 Shadows problem

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 7:45 am

I have a pretty annoying shadow problem within all of the games i play. It gives me a flickering and very pixelated shadows. I am running the latest drivers. The games run great and of a high quality, it is just the shadows.

My Specs of the system are : EVGA GTX 460 SSC+ , 4GB DDR3 , Asrock G41M-VS3 ,Core 2 Duo E7500

Here is a video of the problem : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zc-TbxaXUk

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes they look normal but being as Crysis 2 is pretty much close to the consoles in quality, you can blame that. Crysis had better shadow quality.

I expect this will be improved with the DX11 patch but soft shadows have a high FPS cost.

Thank you all. I thought something was wrong, in Crysis and Far Cry 2 the shadows are more smooth , the quality of the shadows is poor in some games today.
