GTX 560 ti OC

Artefacts are a VRAM thingy i believe, i'd try vRAM @1900 or something, volts @ 1.1.
well as i know each of these can cause artefacts...
Overheating GPU will crash game, overheating VRAM will cause artifacts, ...1.1 is fine, actually it's a little weak to be honest(i'm at 1.113), ...no you don't need to re-start anything, fire up the game play a while, ctrl. alt. del. to the desktop check temps, do some tweaking, play some more, ctrl. alt. del. to the desktop check temps, do some tweaking, play some more, etc. etc.

Oh yeah, if your struggling with it PUT VRAM @1900MHz, my VRAM is downclocked too, if your gonna raise your GPU speed a lot lowering your VRAM speed will help, same as CPU /RAM OCing.

thats what i needed to hear! im running kombustor to OC. Temperature didnt pass 55 degress under 1GHZ and i made sure it said 98-99% GPU load. I just need to up the voltage a bit more and thats it! :D thanks m8 :)

No worries, cause it's summer time the card is gonna need extra TLC till room temps drop in the autumn, still looking forwards to next nvidia driver all the same, here's a nice OC forum :

Overclock to 1GHZ success! :D
core 1000mhz
shader 2000mhz
memory 2004mhz
voltage 1.1(apparantly u were right sli... at 1.1 i didnt see any artefact... i think i didnt see i was looking very closely...)
i did 12 minute burn in test and it was sticking to 70(maximal was 71 celsius and then it returned to 70 celsius and stayed there whole time) celsious with 73% fan speed... its pretty damn nice :DD
Also im getting A/C in my room so temp will be from 20-23 celsius :D
PS thanks to all who helped me :)
another PS should i also OC memory ??? its staying at 2004mhz and i saw somewhere that it could go to like 2200mhz or 2400 mhz ...

Good job!
No don't OC the VRAM, it will only mess your OC up, i got mine set slower than yours, it wouldn't make a difference anyways, 2000MHz is super fast.

560 FTW!

The Gigabyte 560ti OC has a custom cooling system on it that's supposed to be about 15% cooler than a stock 560ti, so for minor overclocking it'll be OK.
A 900MHz to 1GHz OC is ~10%, so you'll be unlikely to see any major performance or temperature increase.

well yeah but the thing is you aren't counting it from 900mhz to 1ghz... you're counting it from 822 to 1ghz and thats quite big jump. i got aprox 10 fps boost from stock clocks and im pretty much happy with em. This means like im running stock gtx 570... Now in crysis 2 fps is... minimum i saw was 32 fps and avg is around 43-48 I'm talking about everything set on ultra ofc... :)
