Launch the game from start>games>crysis2 or launch via c:Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\bin32\Crysis 2 launcher.exe and EADM (EA download manager) will automatically patch you to the latest 1.9 patch, also use 275.50 or 280.xx drivers and that should fix the problem

but keep in mind that the 280.xx is causing problems for some ppl...

I too have a GTX470, and I don't have problems, except random crashes. (with 275.33)

Are you playing with DX11 enabled? because this seems to solve the texture issue, but is causing freezes/crashes....

The pple with 280.xx driver problems are those using SLI (like me) - its not anything that can't be dealt with though. And as far as using beta drivers - the only difference between beta and whql certified is that beta drivers haven't been sent to microsoft to play with there computer for 10 minutes and nvidia cut a nice check to microsoft, other than that they are completely finished, functional drivers.
