A guide on how to earn large amounts of caps

I don't know if many people have large sums of caps by now or not, but in the past 3 days, I've gone from 5k to 105k. Given that there is no auction house to dominate in this game, I'm eager to share everything I figured out in order to help you guys earn maad moola haha.

1) Rush your production rooms every 10 minutes.

The reason why you want to do this is because it allows for extra coinage and it really adds up after a while. It is also usually enough of a 'cool down time' for the odds to become good again, and for me, if its 25 or less %, it's good. Anything higher is BS. My shelter, at a flimsy 66 dwellers, earns about 700 caps if I rush every room (except for med/science bays, given their higher odds of failure). So in a single 'bombing run' as I call it, of rushing rooms, I earn just under 1k. Come back every 10 minutes and just repeat it over and over. You can earn about 10k-30k a day depending on how dedicated you are,. If you're bored as hell on the weekend or in the holidays, it's a great way to make caps for a huge renovation of your vault.

I don't like to rush beyond 25% success rates, the odds in this game are SO bad, so so so so so bad, so I don't bother, its a waste of stimpaks.

*Note, depending on the size of your vault and your rooms, you may earn more or less. Regardless, whatever you earn will still bring you what you consider a large amount of caps specifically for your vault.

2) Always guarantee hitting the mystery man

We've all been there, look for him, panic like crazy, finally tap him, only to get a lousy 99 caps. It happens, but you can get WAY more from him. I recall getting 4.7 k caps from him in one go. Hey, it's better to get him than to not get him, right?

So if you always want to tap him, here is what you do (sorry if you guys already knew this, I'm new here)

-Immediately harvest all rooms so that he's easier to see

-I don't want it to get patched so I'm going to give you some hints:

Get it now?

-Find him, go back into the app, scramble and get him! Be careful though, I think we all know that if you make one bad tap, it zooms out of the room because the controls in this game are so annoying haha.

3) Always send someone to the wasteland at morning, call them in when you go to bed, rinse and repeat.

I find myself in a constant oversupply of stimpaks and radaways, so I imagine other people to be the same. It's a great way to earn caps, but also serves really well for your vault, as you can bring back loot, use what you need and sell the rest. You might want to specifically work out times best suited for your schedule so that they leave when you're awake, then come back just before you wake up when you recall them at night. Don't worry, you'll figure it out.

And thats it...

Yeah, I know it's not very long, but that's because it's simply that easy. This was actually a 2 step method at first, then I realized that 3 would be better. Nothing to it, just dedication really.

*Sidenote:

If I've accidentally recycled knowledge that you guys already knew, I'm sorry - I didn't know. Just passing on knowledge I've made to help out a good community!

Another method that makes tons of money: train every dweller in your vault to 10 luck. That way you get caps when a production room finishes production. Twenty production rooms that each pop every thirty seconds makes a lot of caps.
