Guild related topics are gone

Hi,

I seem to have a problem with guild related topics and joining guilds as in no topics come up in the chat menu with the NPCs. I only recognized this problem after I came back from the first few quests in SI. Example 1: After entering the mages guild there are no topics about joining. Example 2: I already joined the DB before this happened, but there are no topics about Sithis, Night Mother and no new contracts from Vincent.

I remembered installing the newest Midas Spells today, but I still use an old Mighty Magick, but it seems to work fine. I also installed Stutter Remover and KCAS lately.

I haven't checked if it also happens in a New Game, that seems to be my next step if there are no known solutions to this.
I have used BOSS to order my loadorder, merged leveled lists with WryeBash and deactivated topic-related mods like 300 lines.

I did make changes to quests in the last release of Midas. It shouldn't cause problems with the other Dialog but I want to be sure. Do you still have the problem if you backrev Midas? (You will loose all the new spells from the newer version but everything else should be ok)

Is your Rens guard overhaul the most recent version? I recall one of the more recent versions have a issue with topics, but it was fixed.

I reinstalled an older version of Midas and I upgraded Reneer's to 2.06 version (Newest one). When I start a new game everything seems fine, and even loading an save before I went to SI seems to have no problems. But when I load my latest one I still can't talk about the guild related topics. Maybe because I didn't get out of SI the proper way, but used recall? I guess this problem is triggered by entering or doing a quest in SI. I only did the gatekeeper quest and the second with the Resonater. Next step for me is to load a save inside SI and get the proper way out, maybe that fixes those things. I'll update this reply when I have done the proper way out.

Edit: Going the normal way out via the teleport door seems to have solved everything! Very strange but I am happy now, maybe you could look into this xilverbullet.

Yeah, the SI topic issue is one that has been around for a while. The onlything I can do is keep astral mark & recall from working in SI.

I recall that LAME found a way around it, i would poke around there for a while.
