Maybe forum launch is imminent?
Maybe forum launch is imminent?
I am going ebon hawk, drunmer (dark elf) night blade, from what I seen I think they will actualy be better than khajit or bosmer, as they get more magic and stamina reserves to start with
We'll see how our members lean over the next week or two before making a decision, as a breton I personally like the daggerfall storyline and would hope we end up going down that route. We took our first territory against an Ebonheart dominated campaign with a hilariously long fight preventing them from retaking it.
Launch as in everyone makes guild recruitment posts to the point they make a forum for it? Just remember it was Thornblade that started it- as we'll be starting a lot of other things in ESO.
may be they should make a sub forum for it?
Thornblade: Never a Stab in the Dark
...
But yeah, totally got lucky from the looks of it.
Well this is actually a very insightful thread. Either way, something is happening.
Agreed, we're getting our name out there and most of our hits are coming from this site. Talk about hitting an untapped resource that was ready to burst.
*shrug* Admins been browsing through all day and haven't said nor sent anything- and again, there's nothing in the stickies about guild recruitment threads being deleted- merely that they were concerned about guild recruitment posts getting lost in all of the posts.
I don't have a guild
They were always, always locked until today.
Gasp* Well you've been pretty stoic about not joining ours, any particular reason why?
According to the admins Thornblade is in the clear (for now). It'd be a shame to lose the thread, however simply re-creating a thread that directs to a guild website wouldn't be much of a bother I would think.
I'm going to post this here for future reference.

Im mostly shocked that you're openly recruiting for Officers. That surprises me...
Appreciated but you dodged my question
It's been my experience that those who have the capacity to lead but don't want the obligation of running everything or already have a semi-coherent group will check out a recruitment page that mentions a chance at officership than one of the many that don't. From there it gives me the chance to earn their time and demonstrate how we run things within our guild and allow them to take the reins of leadership in their respective field when they're ready.
Most of the guilds recruiting are guys that have been together for years and promote based on the "good ol' boy" system of who-you-know-and-for-how-long. I've launched three guilds on three separate games that have had huge success not just promoting a legitimate shot at running a decent sized guild without having to do all or most of the work putting a group together from nothing but it causes the officers to be more responsive to the needs of the guild instead of the needs of whatever they're trying to get done at the time.
In short, Thornblade provides you a fair chance amongst equals to gain access to a great membership with little to no recruiting effort on your part which frees you up to focus on the things that matter: like learning PvE bosses or coming up with Alliance Warfare systems to keep resources and reinforcements flowing while you're offline.
