Just wondering is there a mod that adds "gun shelves" to player home, that you use like lockers and such. But the weapons are displayed on the racks?

I think we had the same thought at the same time. I was just thinking of a tool board, but instead of a carpenters tools, there would be killing tools all displayed and have it accessible like a chest. I have so many weapons I am working on and this would be a killer addition.

Feng Shui adds the ability to manipulate and lock objects in place. You can literally put things anywhere you have the whim to.

Yes I would sugest Feng shui as well, allows you to lock items against walls/floors/ceilings to create your own gun racks/displays etc. Also IMHO it makes the megaton/tenpenny home livable cause now I can quickly go in and lock everything in place so the stupid robot doesnt knock it all down.

I used Feng Shui on my old save and it was awesome, but It was too tiresome to line up my Unique Unused Weapons on the wall...

This has a bunker, on which there are weapons walls, which store ALL of the original in game guns (no mods, just the vanilla and DLC guns)
Also, next to this storeroom, there are Mannequins which you can dress and equip with weapons

I'm thinking that there's not many mods or resources that add new gun racks, shelves, or other display surfaces and containers is because there's not much players could do with them in-game without tearing their hair out. My hope is that once it's easy enough for people to use such racks and shelves in their game, modders will be more inclined to make some nice new resources that can be used (I may try my hand at some myself).

Making a gun rack or something that works like an activator to automatically place a weapon on it (like the OP is talking about), is something else I've wanted to try before too - I think it would be doable. Something like that might be even nicer for players after the next version of Feng Shui that allows you to place and move fixed objects too.
