I'm wondering if anybody knows a work around for this or a fix that isn't game breaking or going to cause more glitches. I'm sure there have been loads of posts about this but I can't seem to find any help or even acknowledgement that it is known and being fixed.

During the quest "A New Order" I was tasked for finding Gunmar and then helping him kill a bear in a nearby cave. Unfortunately I was also on the killing a dangerous creature quest from the companions which was in the same cave.
Upon entering the cave there was only an ice wraith at the door and then a troll in the main chamber which was for the dangerous animal quest.

Now my Gunmar just stands on the exact point the quest marker leads to telling me that "we need to kill this bear" and I can't proceed. I have tried moving him, I have tried leaving the area and waiting, I have waited 30 days for the cave to repopulate but no bears spawned. Now I am stuck and can't continue.

The cave is called "Bonechill Passage". Also this issue is on the PC steam version, which I have not saw any reports on yet happening on pc versions.

Any help/info that anybody knows would be great.

I'm not on PC but, do you have a save from before being sent to find Gunmar and Seline? If so, you may be OK as Gunmar spawns at a random location and hopefully he'll be in a different place. Hope this helps .

Yea I have been testing with an older save and found him at a different cave which actually worked. Unfortunately its a save from 7 hours before so seems like i'm losing a lot of work . Was hoping there would be an easier option but think this may be my only one .
