I'm charged with recruiting Gunmar and Sorine, but as I approach Gunmar he immediatly attacks. I've tried reloading earlier saves, but that doesnt seem to work. I do have a bounty in the hold which he resides in. Could that be the issue?

That being said, if this is a bug that doesn't have a known resolution can I still have access to the werewolf perk tree if I do the Champions questline and get turned?

Try get that bounty clear and see does it fix it

Yeah that's going to be my first step today after work. I'll update later tonight.

It could perfectly be the issue because citizens are like guards, when you do something against the law, everyone will start attacking you. Clear the bounty in the Rift, and it should fix the prob.

Who's Gunmar and what's the champions questline?

Gunmar is the eight, hidden dwarf in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
