guns and cars in skyrim

Post » Mon Sep 26, 2011 12:21 pm

you probably thought when you clicked on this topic i was trolling or i was just some fallout fan, but im not :D (except for the fallout fan part). i was thinking there could be roumors about horseless carriges and weird bows that can shoot through the toughest armour, maybe in a book written by a man thinking he could go to the future and was declared mad? so what do you think

I don't mind it for a random book, but I want it to be meant as a Fallout reference, and as a very tiny easter egg, and nothing more.

Don't like it. And early guns couldn't shoot through the best armor.

I want a book with detailed schematics of horseless carriges, and Bolt-less crossbows.

Edit: nvm

Maybe the fallout easter egg should be something recognizable
Like a pip-boy reference
Or a brotherhood of steel reference
Maybe a family blacksmith shop in a city called
Brotherhood steele

Or a quest that pantomimes a fallout 3 quest
Like water purifying for a lake
Or maybe a homeless man who has a crazy idea to make small figurines that bobble but teach the children how to be more intellegent, strong, sneaky, craftsmen like
Maybe a nuka cola reference??
Idk but that'd be the most noticable...

The fallout related easter egg should be a horse that explodes in a mushroom cloud after taking any damage.

Meh...

Do you really consider this a good idea, or did you just want to bait people with a misleading title?

This thread is incredibly confusing. No one is talking about what the next person is talking about.

What?

I don't understand. I'm going to sleep.

Ah, this thread! :banghead:

Anything involving guns and vehicles and anything not of the era is uninteresting and overall not a good idea. It's also not funny, just kind of annoying.

I'd rather find a shop called "The Vault". And the street number outside the door would be 13.

I could see how a Brotherhood of Steel Easter egg could fit if done in a veiled manner. Something like a book that references thick armored soldiers with heavy weaponry that despise and try and control magic (magic being the closest thing to technology). Although now that I think about it that sounds more like templars from Dragon Age.

They would be heavy armor wearing magic users. Basically a Mage's Guild splinter cell that finds and catalogs ancient magical texts and artifacts. They would also guard over them 'to keep the public safe'.

Did I mention that they would USE magic while not discriminating against mages?
