Several guns in this game are very clearly patterned on guns made in the real world, even if the names are changed to please copyright laws and anol-retentive gun nuts. The .45 Auto Pistol is obviously based on the Colt M1911, the Automatic Rifle is based on the Browning Automatic Rifle (not much creativity on either side, here), etc. The Fallout Wiki names a few equivalents, but not all of them. What's the Hunting Rifle based on, or the Light Machine Gun, if they're based on real guns at all?
