Since it has been a huge topic on another forum I've recently visited, I'm really curious what you think about this. What is your opinion on including guns. Well, I don't know if someone has already started this subject but I'm really curious.

I don't want guns. I mean, a lot of people already think that Oblivion is Fallout without guns, and let's face it, it is a medieval theme RPG. Guns won't fit the theme and I think it will be ruined. Of course Skyrim will be some years ahead and there might be a few technological changes, but I don't want any guns.

I do not want tes in an industrial age. Including guns would "hint" at that.

actually, fallout was oblivion with guns.....

anyway........ guns would be amazing. the ability to have a hand cannon would be amazing for blowing away mages and their pesky destruction spells.

but guns will never be implemented into a TES game so ill settle for a crossbow but a chinese fire lance would be cool.

it may have been a popular topic where you came from but it really isnt here...AT ALL like about 98% of people on this forum cringe at the very thought of it but sadly about 20% of that 98% cringe at the thought of ANY technological advancement no matter how minor.

I would guess it's more like 60% of that 98%... unfortunately

I'd be surprised if it was 20%. Probably far less.

those are things that have already been in. I think he meant any NEW technology, especially with skyrims supposed "barbaric" feel

EDIT: these players would probably accept some new technology if the devs put it in, but to me it seems like people are VERY opposed to it as of now.

... And I still feel the same way. In fact, I'm certain that by the next gun thread that opens up, say at the most 24 hours, I'll feel the same way.

i should have guessed you of all people would reply to my comment

every time i post something in a thread where you have been you almost always do.
also i wonder how many people where agitated when they seen the windmill in the trailer (hopefully very few)
