Was playing fine going along nicely. Got to about level 19. Went with Danse to the airship then went to attack fort strong. When I was in the vertibird the machine gun wouldn't fire. So circled behemoth till he destroyed the vertibird. Crash landed was running about an couldn't use any of my guns or melee. Last save point that isn't affected is when I left the vault. Anyone had similar or knows a work around? I'm on ps4

I have the exact same problem can't use any guns... Can't melee but I can use a stim pack. I have stopped playing until hopefully a patch is released.I was almost identical level as you. For me it happened when leaving the detetive agency to go to the memory place. This problem is becoming for common now.

Mine are now working. I had finished the reunion quest (killed Kellogg) then brotherhood of steel turned up so went off with danse. That's when I noticed guns weren't working. I solve it I went back to diamond city and spoke with Nick Valentine to finish officially that part of the quest and get the next bit. Once I'd spoken to Nick my guns started working again. Think the clash between quest lines caused the issue. Hopefully that helps
