Guys, no matter what...

Giving the "people will always complain" excuse for oblivion is simply not enough. The game was broken as an RPG, so clearly Skyrim can infact be bad. I however like what they did with the Fallout games, and that was on the same engine. So yea I actually do think SKyrim will be awesome, but Oblivion will always made me very sceptical untill I actually see something concrete game mechanics

No more broken than any other in the series - the RPG systems behind TES games have always been slightly suspect. It's just a matter of knowing how to manipulate them.

There's a reason Galisha's Character Development is an all-but-mandatory mod when playing Morrowind.

My hopes are very high, and I know Bethesda will succeed in providing a deep, engrosing and gigantic RPG that will take 500 hours of my life.

As are mine. I mean, I don't know how any reasonable person that has been watching Beth closely for the past 5 years can deny that they are still on the path that they set out on 20 years ago. They have maintained their integrity by staying true to their roots and will do what they have done consistently with every release, re-invent themselves as well as incorporate a few of the best mod offerings. Thankfully we (the BGMC) now bask in the utterly full embrace of Bethesda's good grace and they have consistently improved our modding experience as well. I can not honestly imagine any circumstance that would prevent this from being Bethesda's best game ever and even if it isn't I have no doubt whatsoever that it will be the best game hour per dollar value on the market..period.

Bethesda has a lock on the massively moddable open world rpg and in my humble opinion Bethesda sits at the top of the gaming industry with this genre and there is no competition in sight.

Long live TES, long live Bethesda and long live the BGMC.
