I read Cry Toms statement that technical issues may cause it to seem like people are still hacking. My question is, would technical issues cause people to appear to shoot me without uncloaking? I doubt it. I think people are still cheating.
Automated Anti-Cheat has never worked in gaming history. Even Steam games wich have the best(i.e not the crappiest) auto-Anticheat still relies on server admins to spot things for it most of the time and then just flags people getting banned for later review. An automated defence will be surcumvented in about 2-3days after release(i.e the anti-cheat patch released today will be worthless by around Saturday by large).
Crysis 2 needs admin commands for kicking and banning and that is fast. How something like that could even be overlook is beyond me. I can understand that EA got the QA of a retarded donkey and wouldn't know what it was if even if Crosby smacked them in the face with it and could care less about the quality of Crysis 2(optimal scenario is that Crysis 2 "dies" around BF3 release..) but I imagen Crytek would have atleast some professional pride and actully make something people can enjoy.
