HackingLockpicking Poll

With Hacking, the higher your Intelligence stat, the less words appear in the list. With an Intelligence of 10, you might see 6 or 7 choices to choose from. With an Intelligence of 1, you might see over 15. When I went Idiot Savant for the first time (Intelligence of 1) I noticed the difference, and it was huge. Way easier to hack in this game with an Intelligence of 10. Idiot Savant builds take WAY longer to hack.

I love it when I pick the lock on a door only to notice the big hole in the wall I could have walked through.

Oh, reminds me of the Shock games. This I would like to see.

But I just don't think much of either of them. You get so used to them, after three games of doing it, it sort of becomes second nature. Though I actually kind of enjoy the hacking, believe it or not. As someone already mentioned, it does feel like I'm actually hacking something; trying to find the password. Whereas in other games its matching pictures or getting from one point to the other before a timer runs out.

Though for lockpicking I did prefer how Oblivion did it, and wouldn't mind that returning.

I enjoy lockpicking but hate hacking. I always have Nick Valentine with me to hack every terminal I run across, even the easy ones.
