SO..i had this battle with a dragon out in the wilds for the first time in expert mode with the deadly dragons mod and few overhauls , must say....i had to fight it for nearly 20 minutes use 15 healing portions with having Janessa and Lydia with me..Am lvl11 right now .. Never had such an EPIC fight in my life, considering i only save while inside taverns and no anywhere else..

and there was something very cinematic/spectacular about a dragon appearing on the wee hours of the morning

few things i would have wanted

-For Janessa and Lydia to at least say something about the fight, its one of the few epic moments where you fight together ..

-Why isn't dragons this hard in Vanilla , i could stand in front of him taking bites after bites and still kill him one on one...while on my epic fight..one bite would reduce my health by half ..

-Its very upsetting to read that the dragon gets destroyed after i kill it while usually a dragon soul just becomes another dragon...i wish that was not the case ....

What is it like with the Deadly Dragons mod?

yep...

If you try to melee the dragon from the front , you will die in 2-3 hits ....Avoid his Magic attacks ...it will reduce your health really fast ...IF you get hit by one of those fire balls your health gets reduced by half .. Infact i had put most of my points on Stamina rather than health and get lots of stamina potions. Basically...Your sprinting everywhere avoiding hits. avoiding attacks .... the part where the dragons health becomes 1/4th and he is grounded is when he becomes dangerous as he keeps trying to turn towards you ... Its very very EPIC...

Hmm.. I play on legendary and against some dragons (elder last time) i can get chewed up and spat out almost straight away if i stand in front. I have legendary glass armor and weapons. A tail smack on the ground can take close to 2/3 of my 400 health off too. I should check out the mod though.
