So, I'm making a "Tank" type character, I originally wanted to make a "Dragon Slayer" type guy, just stack resistance to Fire and Frost, but I decided to just go fully Sword and Board and beat people with my shield lol.

Anyways, I made a Breton for the +25% Magic Resistance, and by Lv.4 I took a trip to find the Lord Stone for the extra +25% Magic Resistance. So now I'm sitting at 50% at Lv.8 (It's great by the way...Mages beware ), and I know the cap is 85%, but I had a question about how the "Elemental Protection" perk in Block worked with Magic Resistance. Does it add 50% Magic Resistance (when my shield is raised) to what I have already? (In this case 50 + 50 = 85, since it's the cap) Or would it be applied separately?
