Had to quit playing skyrim

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 12:01 pm

I′ve been struggling with this problem for too long. The !"%#¤ y-axis it way too oversensitive. It makes being an archer impossible.
I′ve had it... No more. Great game, but because of this, I had to stop playing it. I′ve deleted the ini files many times now, from the skyrim
folder. It helps for a minute. Then it starts again. And everytime I delete them, I have to chance the game settings again.

It pisses me off, to forget about this game, because of a problem like this, but if you have the same problem, you know what
I′m talking about.

Have you tried adding this line to the Skyrim.ini file in your "My Games" folder?

"fMouseHeadingYScale=0.0100"

You may then tweak that value to adjust your Y sensitivity. Hope something works for you, bro.

That's quite a petty excuse to give up playing this game tbh. However, good luck with your future endeavours and enjoy life. :wave:

1. cool story bro.
2. wrong forum.
3. there is an .ini variable which adjusts the mouse vertical axis sensitivity.

I use something called Bandicam to cap my framerate without having to use v-sync and I must say it completely eradicates any wild fluctuations in mouse sensitivity for me. It doesn't account for slowdown when I'm getting a low framerate, but you wont have your cursor zooming all over the place any more.

Pfff... that's not quite the reason to quit playing such a magnificent game, tbh.
