That's odd, I've only seen 1 hacker in the last week. Blowing things out of proportion much? And how do you know the top 400 are all hackers and not just regular no life boosters? It's not like there is any thing to stop people from going on an empty server and racking up 800 kills with a friend.

Then you haven't played much. They are on nearly every ranked server I've played on in the last 3 days. And if they aren't on when I join the server they'll roll in and **** all over the good times within 30-45 minutes, guaranteed.

Officially want my money back and its sad to say Steam doesn't offer refunds . . . what a half ass disaster this multiplayer game is and lets face it that's why we bought this game not for the lame ass single player which doesn't even hold up against even the lamest of sci-fi books/movies . . . Hope all You hackers eat some sushi and Your tiny pencses shrivel and fall off just before You keel over and die of radiation poisoning You unenlightened pathetic primates . . .
Oh and CryTek, please forgo any future games since You're clearly retarded as a company and don't even match games like Counter-Strike Source in terms of multiplayer quality . . .
I like your tone, but not the cursing

I noticed earlier today, I was being killed while cloaked... In the killcam, who killed me wasn't using nanovision, and I was not visible to them... It happened enough times that it was definitely cause for concern. They weren't just shooting, they were able to aim perfectly at my head, it should not have been possible at all.

Tom says they take cheating seriously, and that they're working to remove all cheats and people who are using them, so I hope this will be resolved soon.

These forums could use some kind of moderation.

I can understand ranting about disappointment with something, but you don't need to use a swear word every third word to get your point across.

No wonder they never read these forums with all spam and swearing going on...it's like middle grade around here sometimes.

I'm not defending Crytek and their game...which I think is only just ok and definitely not worth 60 ponies, but when I rant ( and I do ) it in a more civilized manner.

I have to agree that cheaters are everywhere now though.

The top 400 players on the leaderboards are all cheaters. It used to be only top 200 or so. Now most of the real top 200 have been bumped to 800.

And all the servers have cheaters now. It's getting pretty unplayable on ranked servers most.

this. this **** is being left unchecked. it's so easy to spot who are cheating just by checking out the leaderboards alone. wtf is crytek doing? perma cloak, aimbots, speed hacks - i see them more and more now.

like many people here, i respect crytek for what they did with Crysis and Warhead, but i'm really starting to despise them now.

I'm withholding judgement on the hacker issue until after the next patch drops which is supposed to address this. I'm more disappointed with the hackers, honestly. In any sense a game is to measure your abilities against those of your peers; and have fun while doing so. What kind of individual wants to cheat on multiplayer? It seems to be counter-intuitive.

That being said, has any PC multiplayer ever gotten rid of hackers completely? I'm not a huger FPS player, but MW2 has its fair share, and CS:S is filled with them...

Crysis and CS have had their fair share of hackers, but not as much as this(from my perspective).

i myself am trying to keep my cool, but it's getting harder and harder to be patient as the days go by, especially when crytek isn't even communicating with us as much as they ought to. i really enjoy the game, but hackers really svck the fun out of it. combine them with bugs+server problems and the game becomes frustrating.

Interesting. My game says I have almost 20 hours. That's maybe a little more than 2 hours a day playing. Am I still missing something? I've still only seen 1 hacker and all I play on are ranked crash site servers. Which you'd think hackers would be on because there is no kill limit..

I'm not denying there are no hackers in the game, I just don't think it's as rampant as people are making there out to be.

I agree with the OP tbh.

- I'm playing people who didn't pay for the game
- Rampant hacking. EVERY server I joined today had at least one player who was using unlimited invisibility etc
- When someone starts a thread to name and shame the hackers, crytek finally interact with us by shutting it down.

I can't speak for other people, but in my eyes thats the behaviour of someone who doesn't give a ****. Crytek can svck my ass.

I regret this purchase so much. I'll never be buying another Crytek product again.

I'm guessing the guys who are claiming we're over-reacting are the same people who are so outraged at Crysis2 for not being the system killer that crysis1 was.

You're wrong about that. I want them to fix all the multiplayer issues first. I don't give a **** about dx11 or advanced graphic options. I think the game runs and looks fine I just want to be able to play it consistently without having my time/effort erased.

No! Don't touch me creepy trench coat man!

There's a good reason they buried hundreds of copies of it . I think of that game now and thank god for patches :)

I'm just coming from another match with at least one cheater. The last three days I've played I've at least met one cheater each day.
It ranged from them using wallhack and aimbot to perma-cloak and infinite ammo.

You'd rather have your unlocks and stats recorded properly first? what good are stats when every game you've played has been against people who can headshot through walls on the other side of the map? or that have unlimited invis?

What good are unlocks and upgrades when you're playing against people who have unlimited ammo/health?

Priority should be perma-banning these little pricks and at least putting some effort into making it even slightly difficult for the hackers to get away with it.

I truly am beginning to wonder if Crytek even had an idea what was going to happen when they released this game in its current state, because it should have been glaringly obvious.... they wouldnt just ignore that would they?

Crytek misrepresented the game leading up to the release and I bought it on the assumption that they were telling me the truth. Then they release it without basic features that I took for granted...like an anti cheat/hacker system. In my eyes they have lost all credibility because of their unprofessionalism. They'll never get another dollar out of me.

Read my previous posts. I have only see one hacker in game in the last week and I play a fair amount(5000 points from rank 30). So either I'm lucky or people are exaggerating how rampant hacking is. Interesting to note is the one hacker I saw was tagged with AA which some one else posted on this thread was the clan tag of the hacker they saw too.

So yes, I prefer multiplayer fixes to dx11.

Do you play on american servers?

I play on a mix of Australian and american and I haven't seen a single game in the last 3-4 days that didnt have hackers in it.

Look at youtube, you can find dozens of videos of people who frap'd these guys.

It is as bad as we say it is.

Most common hack in my travels has been perma-invis.

I don't specify region, I specify ping, get more game choices that way. Guess I must be lucky then? You seem to be misreading me though, when I say multiplayer fixes, that kind of includes improved game security. They go hand in hand. Pirates being able to play a game I paid money for makes me very unhappy.

just came from 5 games in a row that contained 1 or more hackers. thought id find out what your meant to do. i was told i should avoid all games with hackers in them. 10 games later(no more than 1 minute before leaving due to hacking).... this is to much. im patient but im not rich, if i buy a game there's a minimum level of playability i require, this falls very short. this needs a fix immediately and i dont see that happening. i will not buy another EA, Crytek or even any game with people who worked on this game if it isn't fixed. if this were any other purchasable item then i would be refunded in full. but no.....

Dude, please . . . Don't even start to try and derail this **** post with Your BS "argument" . . . I've played CS:S plenty of times and if there is a hacker we kick or ban using voting or the owner/administrator of the server does it so Your argument is full of **** . . . why are people so pathetic?
