Yeah, Eno Romari tells you this - I believe it is listed in the UESP Tribunal pages as an Easter Egg.

Our beliefs are very simple, dear friend. The blessed Tribunal, though once filled with glory, are no longer the gods they once were. As with the tides and Tamriel's moons, all cosmic powers will wax and wane. But, when gods die, it creates ripples throughout the lands. The passing of the Three will be a prelude to the end of this era, and the beginning of the next. The followers of the End of Times are making ourselves ready for this to happen.

We realize that the end of the era will bring many changes. We believe that the gates of Oblivion will open, and the multitude of daedra will roam this world freely. Some might tell you that this is a good thing, that we are descended from the daedra and it will be a return to the natural order of things. I know differently, though. The coming age will be a time of great horror.

The Daedra Princes are not our ancestors. Nor are they our allies. They will wash over the land, destroying all that man and mer have built over these thousands of years. The only protection from this scourge will be our true ancestors that have gone before us and watch over us even now. Many of our followers choose to participate in the Cleansing, to prepare the way for the rest of us. It is a sacrifice to be sure, but it is for the greater good.

It is a glorious ritual, friend %PCName. Our followers cleanse themselves of all of their troubles, all of their burdens here on this earth. They send themselves ahead to the ancestors, spreading our word, making ready for when we shall all join them in our fight against the daedric hordes.

There is also a Man in Bloodmoon who also speaks of Oblivion and even says something like "Close shut the marble jaws of Oblivion"

The emperor in DF also says that so it might not be referring to OB, though i think it is.

Most likely but like these i believe know one picked up one them until oblivion was released or announced. In morrowind that just sound's like random ramblings of a cult worshiper or a prophet like figure, like the wise women for example, so it seems normally, if they did include something like this into oblivion it would have to be discreet because people, more of the imperial popular race will not speak like this because they worship the nine divines.\

/my limited knowledge of lore/ oblivion, played and beat it thats it.

Oddfrid White-Lip In bloodmoon can predict your future. He speaks of this prophecy.

"When the dragon dies, the Empire dies.
Where is the lost dragon's blood, the Empire's sire?
And from the womb of the void, who shall stem the blood tide?
So long as the Blood of the Dragon Prince runs strong in her rulers, the glory of the Empire shall extend in unbroken years.
His heart's blood bleeds in darkness
For once the portals are opened, who shall shut them upon the rising tide?
For Lord Dagon forever reborn in blood and fire from the waters of Oblivion.
Find him... and close shut the marble jaws of Oblivion."

Not sure about you but I'm "fairly" sure that's about OB hahaha.

Make you wonder if they stuck any lore into Oblivion that foreshadows the events of TES5. The only interesting thing I've heard of another province is the rumors about Summerset Isle that the npcs love to chat about.

It has to be more subtle than that.

Are there any rambling madmen in the game except the Prophet and Mankar Camoran?

I always knew about White Lip's prophesy, but it was a shock playing tribunal to hear Eno Romani's speech. That was even more blatant.

I think the thing about the Greybeards predicting the end of days in Skyrim might be something.

Well, there's a certain mad Bosmer sailor in Anvil...

Yeah, but he's not so much a seer, more just a nut.

Remember also the rumor floating around in Morrowind called "Trouble in Cyrodiil City" or some such

People talked about the emperor is gonna die, and some say his heirs are imposters -by *gasp* daedra. Wasnt just right on, but it was a clue. (It got me thinking at least)

It did hint that there would be some problems in the Imperial Province with the succession, but it isn't directly related to what happened, since people were talking about the Emperor's illness, he did not die of an illness, and there were rumors that the heirs were fakes (if I remember correctly, they might have been placed there by Jagar Tharn.) Oblivion never made a plot point out of the heirs being impostors, in Oblivion, the heirs were dead, it doesn't matter much as far as the succession is concerned whether they're who they seem to be or not if they're dead anyway. The prophecy in Bloodmoon was much more closely related, as was the beliefs of the End of Times Cult, as for lines in Oblivion, there are a few I could think of that might hint at the plot of the next game, but until Bethesda makes an official announcement, I can't guess which might be the truth, if the theory that Bethesda will make a game in Skyrim proves correct, perhaps the one about the Graybeards might be a hint, maybe there is some kind of as of yet unspecified threat rising in Skyrim, maybe the plot of the next game is related to this threat, but most of the other provinces also have rumors which could hint at things that might play a part in future games, well, maybe not Elsweyr, since the major trouble of note there seems to be related to the skooma trade, and I doubt Bethesda would make a game with a main quest that focuses on the skooma trade. It will probably be something a little more... epic and heroic like in previous games, like saving the world from some god or Daedric Prince or stopping those who are plotting... some sort of malevolent scheme or another.

To be fair, Oddfrid proved her precognitive powers within Bloodmoon by predicting Hircines hunt. I somehow doubt she learned that from simple observation, being a disembodied skull and all.

From what I've seen of speculation regarding this topic. Thurandil is generally brought up the most, and here are his quotes.

"Son of Julianos and Mohi-Titona, Queen of Akavir"

"These slugs climbing my spine itch something fierce"

"Mother's coming for me in the dragon ships. I don't like these itchy clothes, but I have to wear them or it frightens the fish."

Also, it seems "something" is calling the Argonians Back to Black Marsh.

That seems like it could be the start of an Epic event of sort.

Could be referring to a future Akaviri invasion of Tamriel. This will most probably not be in TES V, but more likely in TES VI, VII or VIII.

Tosh-Raka is mentioned as the mightiest ruler in Mysterious Akavir, but of course all information contained in that book can simply be bogus... the Empire's invasion of Akavir only touched the coasts of Tsaesci, nothing beyond that, so it seems all the information contained in that books must have come from the Akaviri Potentate... and that snake is not exactly the most trustworthy person.

Will there ever be an Elder Scrolls game, that isn't about saving the world? I am getting sick and tired of that!

It seems like that every 20 years, the fate of the entire multiverse is in the hands of 1 random dude. If I lived in Tamriel, I would instantly commit suicide. Period.

I don't particularly remember Daggerfall having a "saving the world" theme. I still haven't finished it, but it just seems like you're the Emperor's errand boy, or the errand boy of some of the nobles.
