Hair looks horrible

I haven't taken any notice, most likely because its such a big step up from Oblivion, the only one i didn't really like was the female redguard.

Oh my god. Be quiet, he hasn't said it's looked horrible except for one time in this thread, isn't he allowed an opinion? And you have been a right [censored] in most of this guys threads. Sure, most of them aren't great, but just move along.

/counterrant

It's always bothered me, not just in these threads.

Same with hysterical, fine, sure, awesome, epic, etc. It just bothers me that Americans (including myself) have butchered the English language, and several other languages in the process.

Let me state this before I move on: Screenshot never look like the final product.

Ok, now, about that awesome hair, it's made by using voxels, a [censored]ton of them and it requires a lot of the rendering potential, now, if Bethesda has about 100 NPCs in one city and has to render hair, armor, body for every single one of them, well, you get the point. I think hair looks ok, so far, the videos we've seen aren't bad, besides better to have bad hair and awesome armor, weapons scenery.

Alice madness returns. I think they use havoc physics but in the game Alice has hair just like that. Except it doesint look like it's underwater except in the under water levels, but it looks just like that but black hair instead. Go watch gameplay videos and you'll be amazed by how good her hair looks and how real it is.

It demonstartes her hair
And this is a xbox 360 game.

Thats what mods are for. The hair looks better then FO:NV.

Your youtube link leads to videos of balding old guys.....you want hair like that?

I'm getting really tired of hearing " that's what mods are for"

a game should run at it's possible best so mods shouldn't be required to fix a game. mods should be for adding new content or story not to fix what the developers should have done correctly in the first place.

Some people just aren't going to be happy until they see ultra slick anime hair; the kind that makes me cringe whenever I see it.

Let′s assume for a second that we wont get the hair we were hoping for, let′s assume it looks all rather bad. Mods could surely introduce new hair --- but what kind of hair ? Ren′s hair ? That has been first introduced in Morrowind...isnt that kind of outdated ? If we could at least get some hair into the game that was modded for Sims 3, now this would be somewhat more acceptable.

From what i have seen, it does look a bit like we are going to get hair physics..
If we do, i am wondering how modders could implement hair like Ren′s anyway..

Wow, I disagree one-hundred percent. The wolfhound and mammoth fur look awesome IMO.

I just think it looks like patches of hair glued onto it, like a few small Dragon Age beards.

That is just a nvidia test of one person's hair. The technology nowadays is not advanced enough to show a city full of people with hair like that.
