Hair is inpoetant

 Apperently spelling isn't ... inpoetant :P

but in all seriousness, if a comment isn't going to help anyone or continue the discussion it isn't really necessary

I think you people saying the dunmer looks ugly... I think its good that she is. I mean, she IS ugly, but was designed that way. I am sure there will be some dunmer who are better looking, this one happens to be an ugly one is all. I want a game filled with ugly scary people, some average people, and a few good looking ones. CONTRAST makes it realistic. If you want everyone to be pretty with H cup boobs, you'll have to wait for some mods.

But from what I've seen a few scary looking freaky characters is what ES needs. Oblivion most people didn't look very intimidating. So far Skyrim reminds me a lot of most medieval movies... there are always a lot of scags and rough looking people everywhere... and only a few real beauties... it will draw your eye to the nicer looking ones for sure and maybe mean something when you see a hottie, and want to romance her, etc. Seems to be a good design IMHO.

Hey guys we should keep posting in this thread so it always stay at the top of the list

Hey, no. If a thread stays at the top of the forum through constructive discussion, then that's perfectly fine. But just bumping it with rather meaningless posts such as the one below is just spam. So please stop that.

No, it's ugly.

I think getting worked up over something as simple as the hairstyle is a little ridiculous, no ? regardless, it'll still be an awesome game ! :)

The hair is more than I could have hoped for and looks great, as far I am concerned.

I just want to see some more dreadlocks (redguard bandit in E3 demo had them).

I agree 100%, there should be pretty people but only if there are uglies as well. I hope we see some scarred old veterans too.

It's always bothered me, not just in these threads.

Same with hysterical, fine, sure, awesome, epic, etc. It just bothers me that Americans (including myself) have butchered the English language, and several other languages in the process.

I am not impressed, it all looks plastic and doesint even look like hair.
I was hoping we'd have this quality hair by now

Edit: apeerently the video link isn't working.
The name of it is HD Next-Gen Nvidia Hair Physics
Its hair that looks amazing and moves like real hair.

The hair will look solid like it does in many games.

If it bothers you that much then wait for the "hair mods" that will inevitably be downloadable soon after the game's release.

Video game hair always looks horrible. There isn't the hardware available that can render the millions of strands real time. Take a look at Mass Effect for some truly horrible hair. It looks like plasticine that's been pushed through a colander and stuck on with varnish. Doesn't stop it being a good game though.

I didn't really like the manga hair in FF

They can fake it though, check out Flemeths hair at the start of Dragon Age 2.

It looks like http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110103184750/reddeadredemption/images/6/6c/Rdr_wild_horses_tamed_passions06.jpg for which I am extremely greatful. The OP is a little daft if he thinks there is no difference between http://i54.tinypic.com/2ih77.jpg and http://i56.tinypic.com/t03z0n.jpg.

I actually don't mind the luminous hair, they should give nobles who have time to shampoo that and rugged mercs the grittier knotted hair

Because the Xbox 360 doesn't support dx11.

Well, it looks kinda better than what we had before, but still, yes, awful.

Especially the Redguard's hairdo. Well, sure, taste or its lack is one thing, but what's even worse is that it looks horribly low-poly.

But... I hope it's just consoles. PCs will get better textures, as has been confirmed, but I hope we'll get high(er)-poly meshes as well.

Wow, you guys are seriously crazy. I think hair in Skyrim looks top-notch. I'm glad they don't have the rediculous, flowing anime hair everyone seems to want.

Hair looks fine to me. And as long as it's better than OB's hairstyles, I'm fine with that.
