Hair looks horrible

Post » Thu Aug 18, 2011 11:08 pm

So far I think all the hair is so ugly and they made no improvements with it at all

Looks fine to me. If I could find a cool hair mod I would probably install it though, but it's really not that bad.

Honestly, it's an improvement from Oblivion so I'm not gonna complain.

Seriously, those first three screens made me jump. Next time warn me:)

As far as the hair goes, I don't really care. It's the least of my worries.

I actually think it looks great. I'm pleasantly surprised. The Nord Archer has great looking hair, as does the female Dunmer and the female facing Whiterun in the distance.

It's better than Oblivion. I think the female dunmer and female redguard are the only ones were it looks bad.

Awesome avatar is awesome.

On-topic: Hair does look kind of bad, but there are always hats, hoods, and helmets. Some hair may look bad, but I have money on several looking great.

If it's really bad, get short hair. Both genders look good with short hair, so don't pull that card on me.

This! The hair we've seen so far definitely isn't the best... but it's definitely better than previous Elder Scrolls games. Looking at it from that perspective, the hair in Skyrim is like the messiah of hair.

The Youtube link isn't working, for me. It's just leading to some weird Youtube page with four completely unrelated videos.

Just a pet peeve: Stop calling the hair terrible or horrible. If it's not making you cower or making your knees buckle, freezing your blood and giving you goosebumps, it doesn't inspire terror or horror.

The hair doesn't look bad.

You need to remember that graphics are being constrained to the needs of systems like the Xbox. The Nvidia hair demo takes a lot of power, more than a 360 has.

The hair... isn't fantastic. I think that it could be a little better, however, it won't take away much if any of my enjoyment from the game.
Dog and wolf hair looks nice though.
I wonder if it is performance constraints? I have seen better hair, but none of those games have been as big as Skyrim.

Oh my god. Be quiet, he hasn't said it's looked horrible except for one time in this thread, isn't he allowed an opinion? And you have been a right [censored] in most of this guys threads. Sure, most of them aren't great, but just move along.

he/she just stated a small opinion and pet peeve. he/she didnt say anything harsh or cruel... =/

/countercounterrant

edit: although i disagree with his pet peeve. horrible doesnt always have to mean horror causing.
